There are times (the Arop incident) when a head coach must say the magic words to get a technical foul. boise got away with the contact to Arop when boise should have been called for a foul. That was the time for the mean streak in Dutcher to show up by yelling at the officials. That was not the time to be "nice". Those who watched the movie "The Blind Side" will know what I mean.

Having been to many games there inside the Thomas @ Mack, Row A is not the front row. The bottom rows start DD to maybe JJ. The bottom 3 rows (AA,BB,CC) are removed for the wall placed around the court. Row A would be behind the hand railing. Hopefully, the sections behind the basket will return to the 2020 seating plan.

Yes, there is a women's NIT tournament of 64 teams. One year, Wyoming Cowgirls won the women's nit at the sold out dome of doom. SDSU has done enough to earn a WNIT bid this year.

The mwc needs to inform fans of the scenarios of teams involved in the 3rd to 6th tiebreaking process. GoAztecs is reporting that with a win over Air Force, the Aztecs will get a bye meaning seeded 3 or 4 or 5. This Aztecs fan wants to avoid UNLV in the semis. So no 4 or 5 seed. Hopefully, the Aztecs get the third seed as Wyoming is due payback for shooting about 80% in the third and fourth periods in Viejas. Go Boise State beat Colorado State.

Here are my top 4 conference tournament wins that I witnessed in person: The 2011 championship win over ybu in front of a sold-out Thomas @ Mack. The 2006 championship win over Wyoming with all the Wyoming fans in attendance in Denver. the 2011 semi-final win over UNLV, also sold out and the 2011 quarterfinal win over Utah.

It is crazy that with 1 game left there is a 4-way tie for third place. The schools are SDSU, Colorado State, Boise State and New Mexico. SDSU must beat Air Force on Tuesday. SDSU is 1-1 against each of the three other schools in the tiebreaker. It is possible that the Boise State-Colorado-State game loser may get the 6th seed. New Mexico plays at Fresno State. UNLV is the 1 seed and Wyoming the 2 seed.

Yes, I am going to Las Vegas for the conference tournament like I have for every conference tournament since 2003 excluding 2021 when fans couldn't attend. I was in Vegas that week. Thankfully, there is no snow scheduled for the I-15 for next weekend. The temp at night for March 5 and 6 is forecast to be in the middle 20s for Hesperia and Primm and 30s in Vegas. At the 2022 tournament, the temp in Vegas was in the 40s with snow on the hill east of the Las Vegas airport.

Two parts to qualifying for the NCAAA Tournament are not losing games to the bottom six MWC teams like Wyoming winning at New Mexico and losses to other top 5 teams should not have that big an impact considering all 5 teams have a 20+ win season and good N.E.T. ratings. I included the conference games left and games at the conference tournament for both San Jose State and UNLV to reach 20 wins.

So far 5 MWC teams with 20 wins and San Jose State and UNLV with 16 wins each. How many people want to see UNLV beat Boise State tomorrow and give the AZTECS a two-game lead.

When Grand Canyon moved to the W.A.C, they were ineligible to participate in the basketball championships until sitting out several years. With UCSD going to the Big West, they will not participate in the 2023 conference basketball championships due to stepping up a division. SDSU should be immediately eligible to play in the Pac 12 basketball championships the year they join considering they are already Division 1. Missouri and Texas A@M played in the conference basketball championships the year they joined the S.E.C.

One is the Continental Tire with SDSU, Washington, Minnesota and Pittsburgh in Las Vegas. The SDSU men are around 20 in N.E.T and under 20 in S.O.S. and possible NCAA seeding between 5 and 7 in bracketology. Because San Jose State, Utah State and Fresno State women are bad record wise of about 20 losses each, UNLV women despite a 25-2 record and 15-0 in conference and regular season champs are 52 in N.E.T but a paltry 254 in S.O.S. and a 12 seed in women's bracketology.

It will be a change to have the Aztecarita party in the T-mobile parking lot than at the Thomas and Mack and the need to buy conference basketball tournament tickets early as they sell out for the Pac 12 tournament. Question is will SDSU be eligible to participate in the 2024 men's and women's basketball tournaments should SDSU move conferences.

The SDSU Women won a key game over CSU to take over sole possession of second place. Adding, New Mexico beat Wyoming so the Rams and Cowgirls dropped to third place tie.Good playing Lady Aztecs.

C-span wrote "The Ukrainian prosecutor (Victor Shokin) was investigating biden's son and his company was fired at biden's request after threatening to withhold $1 billion in aid". Just once admit biden did something wrong that was criminal of a quid pro quo.
