Questions I have: Would SDSU have been given the option to join the Big 12 and place Olympic Sports in the Big West or another small western conference? (It would reduce travel costs, even if it was a short term solution until SDSU was able to get access to the full share payout). Would SDSU have vastly improved national viability with the Big 12 vs being hidden on CBS Sports. Given the MW teams we play move the needle backwards every year, how much would Big 12 opponents (even the diluted Big 12) ticket sales, attendance, and overall local perception of the program. How much would Snapdragon revenue with the Wave, MLS and year round events able to offset only getting 1/2 share of Big 12 money? Why would State not want to play Basketball in the XII right away ? Most of our games would be on ESPN+ Bank it. W Even in the Pac at full revenue State couldnt compete in NIL. Wasn't considering basketball and an Olympic sport.

Someone here likely knows; I do not: Does SDSU have ANY "authority" or input yet, in what the PAC does? I'm assuming the the Pac2 makes all the decisions until the new members are officially "inducted", which would be in 2025, yes?

A dose of reality. The best analysis I've heard so far. While most of the pretender youtube wannabes sport jocks blather about nonsense, and as much as I dislike Monty, I find this particular show to be pretty spot on. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-Z-VhBlzyQA few days ago his show was dedicated on Ripping JD.WICKER for not joining the BIG-12 at the half share rate. He was complementary on the BB team though saying SDSU could have had great exposure and been in the best BB Conference. He said WICKER is holding back SDSU. "BIG 12 Expansion Disaster!"

I know that there is still a lot of FB to be played this year, but I'd like to know. Does anyone know if by chance that BSU or UNLV make it to the CFP and get paid for it, will that get shared only with the outstanding MWC members and Not the ones leaving to join the PAC12. I would think if BSU makes it, they would still get a portion of the money they would receive for making the Playoffs.

Yep. Beavers looked good to start the game but kicker ( who was terrible against us) kicked field goal attempt directly into the line...

OSU got their beavers shaved today by a bunch of ducks…despite their solid win against AZZZZZZZZtecs last week, they are really not a very good football team this year.

Listen to JD again, he says even with the exit fees this is a good deal… they have models with all of the fees and models with much less… AFA is going to the American… The P6 are hoping they take a travel partner like UNM or USU which would reduce the leftovers to five schools… UNLV, SJSU, Wyo, UNM/USU, Nevada and UNLV… The precedent has been set by the P12 becoming the P2, negotiations lead to reduced fees and some of those fees and or assets can only be kept if the leftovers rebuild the league… Some writers have been saying the $111M payment of "poaching" and "exit" fees has been done. If that was the case, Gloria would be out there shouting from the rooftops. I don't see the MWC getting both the "poaching" and the "exit fees" because that would be "double dipping." Perhaps the PAC settles with just the "poaching" fee. That is what I think. D The last School from the MW who should have been in ahead of Fresno and CSU is UNLV. They finally got their act together. They have the Billionaire donors, sugar daddy NIL, Institutional commitment and Guv support. They have the ability to be the Nexus of this Conference. They have a really good FB Coach who has indicated he is staying. With the new money they will also land a top notch Basketball Coach. Follow the money. It goes right through Vegas

Sounds like half share for the length of the current media rights deal which would put us well behind the other conference members financially. Yet Oregon and Washington elected for the same half share financial disadvantage with the Big10. And before people start saying, yeah but it's the B10 vs the B12, the situation is relative. Wouldn't the B12 at a half share still be better than the MWC? Oregon has Phil Knight's money. Let's see how Washington fans feel about the move in a couple of years. Right now they just lost to Wazzu, our future conference mate, at home which has to sting a bit. UW has a couple of easy games with Northwestern at home and Rutgers on the road but then are Michigan, @iowa, @indiana, USC, @penn St, UCLA, @ Oregon. I'm thinking they win no more than 5 games this year.
