Gotta love being one of the lone soldiers amongst many enemies when you come out victorious. They needed to really feel just what happened, and you gave it to them. If it was reversed, you would have felt their wrath. Go Aztecs!!! The later part of my youth was in LA after I had already adopted Bay Area teams. It was awesome rooting for the opponent in a sea of LA fans. The best.

As a fan, one of the most memorable moments was in 1979, when I still was a Charger fan, sitting amongst all Rams season ticket holders at the Colosseum. I sat tacitly through the game until Fouts hit Jefferson on a post for a long touchdown. The Rams fans looked at me going ape$hit like I was Franklinstein! Chargers went on to slaughter the Rams that day. The also beat up the Steelers 35-7 to end the season. Somehow those two vanquished teams managed to face each other in the SB, while the Chargers, of course, after choking to Houston watched on their small screen tvs. Yes, Fouts threw five picks.

About what I would expect them to say Do they have any bigger "advantage" than Alabama did? They also had a 7 footer...a 6'9 NBA lottery pick...and several other post players between 6'8-6'10....They found out that while we don't have a 7 footer...we have a 6'10 guy in Mensah with extreme wingspan / reach...a bulky, long, and super strong second unit big man in LeDee who is emerging into a star before our eyes in this tournament....and two very long 6'7 guys in Arop and KJ who can guard the post and perimeter effectively. Also, note that their 7'2 guy is a load, but he is also a freshman who has had limited minutes, and is not in the same superstar category as Kalkbrenner with Creighton who is also 7'1....Not sure that he is as skilled as Goldin with FAU either.

About what I would expect them to say Yes, and I noticed that maybe only one or two of their posters brought up the Alabama game. That would have hurt their narrative a little more and given us more credit. But yeah, pretty what I would expect as well. Yes… they are not more talented or bigger than Alabama…

Love it. I've been in a few situations like that with Raider fans during the Foutsie days. So fun. You definitely had to watch your back

The later part of my youth was in LA after I had already adopted Bay Area teams. It was awesome rooting for the opponent in a sea of LA fans. The best. The owner of the company I retired from used to take me to the Seahawks games up here. Club seats, free flowing insults as the game/booze went on, loved it. Chargers (I grew up in El Cajon before joining the Army and moving on, so SD teams in my heart). Chargers come up here on a cold and rainy day. Close game but I'm getting killed from all those around me as I'm wearing my Merriman jersey. In the rain, freezing, Rivers hits Vincent Jackson for a TD with little to no time left in the game. Stadium goes quiet, we're in club seats and I stand up and say "what about now?" What the f x x x do you say now?" as loud and as long as I could. I turned around in a 360 showing off my jersey looking at everyone, I mean they were killing me all game long. Nothing but crickets from them. One of the best in person sporting moments I've ever had.
