I'll add posts to this list as the new POTUS takes actions which, in my view, merit praise.
1. Recognition that Turkey was guilty of genocide in WWI.

There may be others, but for the moment that is what I thought of. Perhaps you would like to cite a few. If so, I will be happy to comment.

AzWm He hasn't done anything to make me embarrassed to be an American, something I felt daily under Trump. That's pretty vague. I cited an actual action taken by the President. One which required a bit of courage, since it called out one of our NATO allies. Good for him. Now, maybe you could share with us one of his actions that you feel deserves credit. AzWm

AzWm Assembling a diverse and qualified coronavirus task force filled with specialists in their respective fields to help America recover from the pandemic, specifically focusing on a lack of equality and underserved communities. Rejoining the World Health Organization. Rejoining the Paris Accords. Immediate coronavirus legislation with direct aid to families and businesses. Not being a complete psychopath on social media (Low bar, I know). Still has plenty of work to do, but restoring sanity to the White House matters.

Developing an actual vaccine rollout plan that has gone pretty great all things considered after discovering there was no plan upon entering office.
Oh and passing legislation that directly helps poor kids not go hungry, that's pretty great.

Oh and passing legislation that directly helps poor kids not go hungry, that's pretty great. If you mean the 1.9 trillion one, a small minority of that is Covid relief. Worst, a whole lot of that won't take effect for at least another year. A better bill could have gone to Biden's desk. By the way, all those Georgia Republicans who got fooled into not voting for the Senate seats had damned well better keep their mouths shut if they don't like what's coming out of D.C. these days. Instead, they need to look into the nearest mirror. AzWm

Over 350 billion dollars in state, local and tribal relief alone. 65 billion in testing and vaccination boosts. 22% of the total bill is the $1,400 dollar direct checks (which Republicans fought to shrink, by the way)...so, definitely not a small minority of anything. The bill absolutely could have been better, though.

Unfortunately, the $1,400.00 direct payments were in a bill that had a lot of other things that Republicans didn't like. If it were separate, they would have voted yes on it.

That's quaint, though. Every Republican in the Senate voted no and Mitch McConnell explicitly said he was concerned that $1400 would cause people to stop working because it was too much money. They fought to give people absolutely nothing, hard.

They fought to give people absolutely nothing, hard. If it were separated, the majority would have voted for it. Trump was for it early on, as well. Again, this isn't true. I know Trump supported it. The vast majority of Republicans did not, however. There was a separate proposal in December, it was rejected soundly. McConnell's influence in the Senate over certain other voters as the former Majority Leader is massive. House Republicans voted to reject a standalone bill that would have raised the 600 amount to 2,000 December 24th. I don't know where you're getting information from, but it's factually inaccurate.

Developing an actual vaccine rollout plan that has gone pretty great all things considered after discovering there was no plan upon entering office. Oh and passing legislation that directly helps poor kids not go hungry, that's pretty great. President Trump ordered millions of doses well before the rollout. These pharmaceutical companies didn’t just twitch their noses and millions of doses suddenly magically appeared. The Biden Administration had much of the distribution framework already established, there is no way hundreds of millions of doses gets in the arms of Americans without this framework. Trump set the Biden people up for success period.

Trump partnerimg with Moderna while he was downplaying the severity of the virus is particularly cruel.
