Try telling that to a parent who lost a child due to the violence of someone who shouldn't have been here. Get a grip. Just food for thought: Ted Bundy, Wayne Gacey, Zodiac, Green River killer, Richard Ramirez, Charles Manson and on and on..I wish the home grown guys weren't so bad. I agree. Horrible people.

...Says the guy exploiting a tragedy to prove a point that doesn't exist. I remember Kate Steinle's case pretty vividly. I also remember the thousands to one ratio of unrelated murders committed by American citizens. I know a thing or two about gun violence.

As someone who knows about gun violence in more ways than one, I wouldn't use an immigrant-connected murder to prove my narrative, since I know that narrative doesn't exist.

No punchline for me. You're way out there Ryan. You need to think before you trivialize horrible actions. You actually compared deaths by cows to sharks attacks in your reasoning. WOW!!! Crime and violence are reasons why people are concerned for the surge, amongst a HOST of other reasons.

One of us is actually posting resources and links to information - The other is posting worthless anecdotes like "I have talked to Mexicans" and making blanket generalizations. One more time - There is no connection between increased crime/violence and immigration. Zero, nada, nothing. So why are you concerned for something that factually doesn't exist? I used a ridiculous example on purpose to dispel your notion...and to show you can find an example of literally anything if you look hard enough. An isolated example does not make a valid connection to your wild, racially charged theory. We can agree that the asylum process needs work, but this is not as simple as you want it to be.

Like I said, over and over, it can be a white European who commits the violence. It's all horrible. Keep glossing over it and use the race card. You're the poster child for this crowd.

You can keep attacking me, but it doesn't make you sound any better here. The race card is being used because of your inability to admit you're wrong from a statistical perspective, blaming immigrants for crime and violence that doesn't actually exist. I don't cry racism unless I perceive actual racial bias. You can say "It could be a white person from _______", but the fact of the matter is that most of your inflammatory and insensitive language is geared toward people south of the border. Notice how I'm posting actual sourced material rather than personal anecdotes that I won't just make up? (i.e. I would never say "I know Mexicans who could commit murder and disappear") or something equally as goofy as that. The statistics are out there and they show what they always do - Migration patterns that have held up consistently for decades, with mixed intervals of decline in between due to various human/economic/social factors, regardless of who the president is. Fox News would assail the DACA program and have you believe that a lot of those children are future/current felons or drags on society, but that's not real, either. And one more thing - To illustrate the point that people would just feel more comfortable here with Biden in office. The Obama/Biden administration aggressively deported people, in the hundreds of thousands. So, why would people feel like they could just hop and skip across the border....for that? Doesn't make a ton of sense.

Are you actually saying there's no violence from immigrants? There's countless accounts of violence from illegal immigrants that have a shady past, that simply keep coming back and forth from across the border. Did you say it does not exist? Wow!!! That's why I say to you to get out from under your rock. Talk to the families that have had violence done to them from someone who came across the border and knew they could just cross back again after they're crime was committed. Don't sweep it under the rug. Of course there's more good immigrants, and I've hired many legal immigrants. It would be great if we could perfectly weed out the bad people from the good. That's unrealistic. You say most of my direction is towards people south of the border, hello, thats where most illegal immigrants are from. Stop looking at it by color. I'm only saying Latinos because they're from Mexico, etc.... Quit perpetuating racism. You're one of those people that cheapen the word racism, by using it at the drop of a dime and whenever you find a loophole for it. My African American best friend is very sad that this has happened in the world. Shame on you.

That's embarrassing from an adult human being to drop a line like that...but I digress. Fun fact - Since 2007, visa overstays have outnumbered illegal border crossings. So, there goes another popular prevailing theory. I, however, did not say anywhere that illegal immigrants don't commit crime. I said they don't account for an INCREASE in crime/violent crime, which is accurate.

And there is really no comparison between firsthand experience of surviving gun violence and having an African American best friend or having a conversation with a person of Mexican descent who could escape across the border. Those two things are not on the same planet in terms of relevance, nor should they be, really.

"The sad and tragic fact is that the civil rights movement, despite its honorable and courageous past, has over the years degenerated into a demagogic hustle, promoting the mindless racism they once fought against." Thomas Sowell www.mindingthecampus.org/2020/08/27/the-intellectual-fragility-of-white-fragility/"So, what are some of the problems with white fragility? First, in its postmodern disavowal of science, white fragility is inherently unmeasurable and unfalsifiable. This is by design and creates a pernicious catch-22: if whites admit their racism, they are obviously racist. If, however, they deny their racism or become defensive, they are fragile racists. Persons are not viewed as nuanced, three-dimensional human beings whose life experiences are individualistic or complex. In the White Fragility universe, whites are inherently oppressive, and African Americans (and by extension all “people of color”) serve only as victims around whom whites must walk on eggshells to avoid triggering deep emotional pain." To treat and think people as equals is now tantamount to racism - go figure . Still waiting to hear why the Asian minority in the USA do better than the White overlords and why policemen somehow have a soft spot for the Asian minority as they have a lower rate of death as unarmed victims per interaction with police compared to their "privileged" White counterparts? I don't think her book goes into that.

Looks like the increase in anti-asian violence is associated with the significant increases in crime in a number of big cities and the coincidental density of Asians in those same cities. But let's not let facts get in the way of a good false narrative. thenewamerican.com/if-its-whites-attacking-asians-most-of-those-whites-look-awfully-non-white/
