Developing an actual vaccine rollout plan that has gone pretty great all things considered after discovering there was no plan upon entering office. Oh and passing legislation that directly helps poor kids not go hungry, that's pretty great. President Trump ordered millions of doses well before the rollout. These pharmaceutical companies didn’t just twitch their noses and millions of doses suddenly magically appeared. The Biden Administration had much of the distribution framework already established, there is no way hundreds of millions of doses gets in the arms of Americans without this framework. Trump set the Biden people up for success period. Any somewhat competent president would have invested largely into vaccines last year and into securing them and I recall they could have secured more and didn't. If trump had taken the pandemic seriously, showed some empathy and set good examples he probably gets reelected easily which is scary to admit but true. |

Speaking of a snake oil salesman and adding the gullible fools that believe him, please explain the benefits to the US with the current fiasco at the southern border (other than the stuffing the ballot box with undocumented Democrats)? Importing Poverty, Covid infections, unaccompanied minors, aiding and abeting human trafficking, drug trafficking, rape and molestation of migrants, countless unknown "got aways", a financial windfall for the cartels, the drain on social services (when we can't effectively deal with existing needs for our homeless), etc, etc. Almost every other industrialized nation has an orderly immigration system yet we allow a free for all because it may eventually lead to unopposed Democrat power. Give me a reasonable argument to the contrary. Yes, I’ve heard all illegals will be granted citizenship right after the bad democrats take everyone’s guns away. Enjoy living in the constant fear of things that aren’t actually happening and being obsessed with the same 5 issues every time a democrat is in office while ignoring the many issues that could help everyday Americans.

Okay, I will now add, in the spirit of the thread, another positive post. This refers to the VP's answer to the question "Is this a racist country?" She stated that the U.S.A. is not a racist country. I applaud that answer. This country has plenty of faults (as does every nation), but nation-wide racial prejudice is not one of them.

This isn't a parade of "orange man bad" - It's one poster continually bringing up disingenuous red herrings while propagating myths and the rest of us on Earth are using logic and substance to rebut said red herrings. Since the GOP (Lindsey Gfaham, for instance) literally said the GOP cannot move forward without Trump, that's a pretty important narrative to honor, considering the trainwreck of the last four years and the extreme danger that Trump put this country in (repeatedly) during his administration. |

Perhaps the solution is a new sub-forum for "Guns, Illegals, Cancel Culture, the Deficit" so people can rail on those topics for the rest of time while some of us concentrate on bettering society.
