I picked Stevens because he needs to be our most improved player (let's start with free throws).

I think Rahon is in a prime spot now. He will be given a lot less burden, and with it a lot more freedom. Though his minutes will decrease, I expect his productivity/minute to be greatly increased.
And that foot feeling better is gonna do a lot for him as well. Expect some very high-level play out of him in stretches.

If healthy, he can provide some great minutes off the bench with his shooting and defense.

I voted for James Rahon (assuming he's 100% healthy). At his peak, he's one of the best shooters in all of College basketball. He'll be a Senior looking to end his career at San Diego State with a bang. I'm routing for James!

I voted for Dwayne Polee II because he wasn't an option on the poll and I felt bad for him.

Not trying to be a smart alec, but all of them. We need every single one of them to work as hard as they can individually and as a team. They all have different roles, and if they all perform well in their specific roles, expect the Aztecs to do some damage come March. Can't wait! Hey, leave Alec out of this. He's no longer here. And, per a seasoned poster, he may or may not be having girlfriend issues.

dont sleep on LBF. you heard it here first. I'm sleep on LBF. He has to somehow get better than X and learn how to play solid defense again agressive point guards. If he can manage to earn 10 mpg, I'd say he had a good season. But he's no game changer for SDSU. The temptaion of physically impossing, athletic line ups at Steve Fisher's finger tips will make it hard for LBF to be of any substancial use to this years team.

I vote Polee. Oh wait, he isn't on the list? Fast break with Jamaal pushing the ball, Polee and Deshawn on the wing...can't wait!

DeShawn will be...hands down...our most improved player...he will dominate the paint while our 3 guard tandem will light it up from the perimeter...

Jamaal is a lot less selfish than some people on here think. Jamaal is one of the most unselfish assertive player you're going to find in College. He'll never look off an open man to take his own shot unless his shot is unquestionably the better shot. It's actually the exact opposite, Jamaal did not have guys setting him up for easy baskets last year....and he was STILL the leading scorer. Jamaal get excited when he creates an open shot for someone else. Had it not been for Rahon and Tapley's dry spells and our lack of an inside scoring presence, Jamaal would have averaged way more assist last season. Most of his points come from hustling, running the floor, and getting to the line. If a guy has 15 shot attempts, but 8-10 of them are layups, how can that be considered selfish?

5th on the team in assist % last year. Not bad at all considering how much he shoots. If he can become a better passer and cut down on the turnovers the assists will for sure go up. I've never thought of him as an unwilling passer though at all.
