I blame Lewis. Grass doesn't want to grow for him.

Are they putting to many events on that turf? Wait until they start playing MLS on it also.

I’d imagine after the season that they might make a change to the director of turf and grounds at snapdragon.

I’d imagine after the season that they might make a change to the director of turf and grounds at snapdragon. Maybe the Oakland A's ground crew are available . They were miracle workers for years with the A's and Raider's sharing that field, plus tons of concerts. That field was nicer than any field I've ever seen in my life. At one point I'd been to 25 of the MLB stadiums and a bunch of NFL & College ones.

There are no excuses for not having excellent conditions for every football game (6 games) for their primary tenant AZTEC FOOTBALL.
They should be able to grow grass in the parking lot that looks better, Oh wait they already do.
This is San Diego and things grow real well here with or without canopies!

It seemed like -- at least on SDSU's side -- there were a lot more injury timeouts than your average game. I can't account for why it didn't seem to effect Wazzu as much -- but I was eyeballing all that sand during the injury breaks and humming that old song: "Things That Make You Go: Hmmmmmm..."

It sure grows on his face His beard is worse than this field. Terrible look for a head coach. Needs to get it styled and trimmed way back. Guy looks like the Taliban. The turf looks ugly on TV. Lines are all faded and even the logo is faded. As a side note. Our uniforms look faded on TV. Lay off the bleach when you wash them.😅

Now we know where all that sand that used to be at Moonlight Beach went. I finally got around to watching the game and the amount of sand getting kicked up with each step was distracting. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that, the turf is a mess.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like that, the turf is a mess. Like I said earlier there is no excuse for this field to look as bad as it has for nationally televised games. The Aztecs are the main tenant and only play 6 games a year at home. This is NOT the first time the field has looked shoddy. This needs to be addressed and no more subpar showings for the Aztecs football games, nothing else gets any kind of television exposure like the Aztecs game (stop with no one is watching stuff). They need to figure out how to make it all work with MLS coming onboard next year along with the Wave FC.

Field looked terrible, no wonder we are down to 5 healthy OLinemen. Aesthetics aside it's a safety hazard at this point .

We should change the name of the stadium to The Beach.
On the bright side, they could hold beach volleyball there and not have to bring in any sand.

Yup feel the same way about our basketball team's leg injuries. Don't know if it's our trainers or medical staff. This is why I wasn't surprise that Randy Shelton was let go from the Clippers. At some point the way they train is an issue.
