Annnnnd, still waiting... Show me the list of Aztec injured. Show me the exhaustive list of anybody injured, anywhere. Then I'll show you a list of players injured playing... I don't know... Tiddlywinks. You get the point -- but, please, continue if it makes you happy. You guys keep circling back to the same dead-end argument. It's a non-contact sport. Next you're going to outlaw mixed-doubles at Wimbledon. Again... Get back to "taking somebody's spot" argument, and then you've got a leg to stand on. But stop with the injury nonsense. It's a bad look. Please explain why players on his/her? own team do not feel safe playing against her? These are scholarship athletes who have been playing the game at a high level for many years and Now feel unsafe during practice because of 1 player on their own team. These same players who have played against and competed with other high level players on other teams and have never reported feeling unsafe? The potential is there and I would say about 100% of these girls DID NOT sign up to compete against guys because of their unequal abilities and physical stature while compromising their overall safety whole trying to compete while earning a scholarship. There are many reasons from .. ** taking a scholarship spot from a woman ** being stronger than the actual women.. whether it be in league matches or even practice ** sharing a locker room w the women ** I saw an interview w one of the girls filing a lawsuit against San Jose State mentioning that not only did she become roommates in a multi-woman apartment, but also shared a hotel room on a road-trip without knowing she had a man in her room So many things wrong w this situation .. study up on the male swimmer that was on the ladies Penn swim team

There are so many things wrong with this on so many levels. First a group of women have to put themselves in an uncomfortable situations and asked to put themselves in physical danger for the comfort of one person. While I believe in taking care of the least of us this I believe is going a few steps to far.

First off, I will believe chat board posters are concerned about women's sports when I see regular posts on those chat boards recognizing the women's sports teams. If you want something done about a transsexual playing on a women's team then write to the NCAA. NCAA Board of GovernorsPersonally, I have played years of adult rec league softball and volleyball both men's and co-ed. Most of the women bucked up and did not seek any special consideration from the men. We may have granted them some, but the gals would verbally let you know it, if they caught you pulling back.

Essentially you are saying that there should be no womens sports. It should be coed? Be damned title Ix? A person doesn't have to like something to do defend it. I don't like your post but I will give my life to defend it. Also, its state law that changed title Ix, not the ncaa. I don't think the govorrner or the state legislator will be concerned with what I think anytime soon.

When Vijay Singh was asked how he felt allowing Anika to play in men's tournaments - he simply stated.....
I'm all for it, if they allow me to play on the women's tour!

You are either full of it or you’re dishonest! I guarantee you have never played rec league volleyball on a girls height net. Doesn’t happen due to liability concerns. Plus, you aren’t a division 1 vball players.

Not sure if you would want to defend a guy that finds game in going down the rabbit hole hunting for bear. This state, as well as many other states have good intention laws that get a "Ho-Hum" response from the NCAA.

And, I never claimed to be a collegiate volleyball player, though giving clue to my age I did play water polo in college. As to being full of it or being dishonest, prior to the San Jose State freak show rising your blood pressure, how many Aztec volleyball games have you attended this year? We seem to have a decent team, 11-5 overall, though currently 3-3 in conference. Thursday evening, we host the conference leading CSU team at the Peterson Gym, will you be there? Or is your talk of supporting our women just that?

Whether someone watches women's sports or not has absolutely nothing to do with supporting female athletes in their boycott of males participating in female sports. It also has nothing to do with whether you think it is wrong for males to participate in female sports. So the real question is, Phil, do you support males playing in women's sports? EDIT: He is a 14 year old girl talking about her experience competing against a male. Can I support her but not watch her meets? www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rFfuG2Exyg

The fact that this is even discussed and debated really shows the strange state of mind in our society. I mean wtf

My two daughters played club, high school and one played college volleyball. My wife played college volleyball. That takes me back to supporting women’s Athletic’s since 1988 and covers thousands of matches. Support enough for you

Plus, this isn’t about support, it’s about safety. Especially in volleyball where the nets are substantially lower.

Or is your talk of supporting our women just that? If you played College Water Polo back in the day, How would you or any of your teammates done playing against the girls or playing on the girls team? If you played as a college athlete on a college water polo team, you were a Top Level athlete with freakish athletic attributes that would far outweigh a female athlete at the same level and time(college). Think about what advantages you had over them at that time and do not try to say they were of equal ability, if so you never played the game at that level. Men and women playing the same game (Volleyball vs Water polo) when it comes to the difference between them (Men vs Women), just with a little more contact but still about the same difference between them when you actually compare the men's game to the women's game. Would you want your daughter playing against some dude as the Center Forward or Driver on a break away ripping down the line with an open shot on her? Think back to your days of playing Water Polo, what would have happened if you had a free shot on goal or if some small little freshman rolled up on you and you just happened to rip it, right off her face?

It's just a matter of time before we see a 6' 9" guy, identifying as a woman, start playing college hoops against women. Regularly doing alley-oop dunks and posterizing women trying to take a charge. Where do you draw the line for when a biological man playing against women is acceptable and when it is not? Is it okay if they aren't that good of an athlete but wrong if they dominate the sport, injure women during games, and set NCAA records?
I consider myself a woke person, and think a biological man should live as a woman if it brings them joy in life. But I also agree with others, a biological male playing women sports is going too far - that should be one of the many sacrifices made when deciding to change gender.

And based on my circle of center-left friends... this is absolutely the most common perspective (despite the loudest voices that invariably come from the extreme on either end of a spectrum).
