Belive this is his 2nd year at SJSU, after transfer from Coastal Carolina. One wonders why, they hid the fact he was a male? From players, and those assigned as roommates? Maybe he is really good at tucking it? Might be a good addition to AztecFast

The players are the ones that have to compete so they should make the decision. Support their decision.

The players are the ones that have to compete so they should make the decision. Support their decision. As long as they can freely make a decision.

unless you mean that the Boise & Utah team are playing with pistols tucked in thier socks, then That's a stupid example and nowhere close to the same situation. Well, then, that's a reflection of your own limited capacity. Can't help you. If you can't see your obvious logical fallacy, then you're over estimating your own intelligence.

I know what you mean, even if I am a mere child of 72. The correct answer is number 3 in the lower left. Number 10, lower center, is the one suing the NCAA. The two of them were roommates last year and were reported to be best of friends and as the story goes, along came a young man.

Dear #15, a hundred million apologies. the shadows didn't do you any favors. #10, win! #3, loose. thanks for the correct answer, never would have guessed that one.

Do women players ever hit other women players in the face with the ball?

It would be really awesome if folks here would be equally interested in the SDSU Women's volleyball team, and other women's sports, even when they *aren't* embroiled in socio-political "controversies"...

I pay attention to all women's sports on GoAztecs. I also don't think it's a controversy to stand up for women's safety and opportunities.

Three things I wonder about (though not really):
1) Would this be an issue in a non-Presidential election year? (I suppose it would, since it's one more thing to fuel the 24/7/365 right-wing news machine/random bitch-fest).
2) Are there reporters stationed outside of UCSD/Alvarado for the latest updates from the doctors on-staff re facial-reconstruction efforts on our brave women v-ballers -- and will we have enough players off the injured list to keep this outstanding season on-track?
3) More broadly do men have higher bone-strength in the facial region that allows them to play volleyball with other men? Put another way... Is this a safe sport for men to play? The volleyball injury rate for men must be astronomical. I could see why SDSU dropped it! ;0)

Put another way... Is this a safe sport for men to play? The volleyball injury rate for men must be astronomical. I could see why SDSU dropped it! ;0) 1) Yes, it has been for 3.5 years now. 2) See article below. Also look at all women infiltrated sports, like boxing, MMA, soccer, basketball. There are injuries happening all the time. But they don't show it on CNN or ESPN. Why not? 3) Men are bigger, faster and stronger. They can play at a much faster pace than women. That's why you have men and women sports. Are you really thinking there is no reason to separate men and women sports? Keep in-mind, this man is not even good enough to play for the men's team and yet he is the best on the women's team. What happens "when" a good male athlete wants to play on a women's team? Would you still have no issue with men playing against women? Do you have any consideration for women who lose scholarship opportunities? Or lose playing opportunities? Or do you just want to stick to your political agenda? catholicmedicine.org/news/female-volleyball-player-17-left-paralyzed-brain-damage-transgender-opponent-who-cackled
