John Canzano mentioned who would likely be in a best of the rest conference. In his most recent article, he asked a few TV sources and they came up with the following list based on TV value: Washington State Oregon State San Diego State Colorado State UTSA North Texas Memphis South Florida Air Force Army Navy Fresno, Boise & UNLV would be on the bubble, possibly included due to brand/geography. Surprisingly, Tulane & Rice don't make the list. I've worked in media, broadcast, advertising, data analytics and consumer research for over 35+ years and none of this makes sense to me from a content, audience, ratings standpoint. Again what was the source here? Not only that but it would be an absurd geographical setup. Going to Annapolis and West Point regularly is a very long haul, especially all those West Coast teams. Canzano has been beating that dead horse of a PAC2 conference possibilities for way too long. He was wrong on just about all his predictions while the PAC12 fell apart. He's just looking for clicks to his columns that aren't free.

I would like to see the Big12 go to 20 teams, with an East / West division subdivided into two. West East Pacific Southwest Midwest Atlantic SDSU Arizona Iowa Cincinnati Utah Arizona State Kansas Houston BYU Texas Tech Kansas State West Virginia Oregon State TCU Colorado UCF Washington State Baylor Oaklahoma State ?? Tulane/Memphis Play 4 games in your subdivision, 2 in the other East or West and then 1 each in the other subdivision

West SDSU, OSU, WSU, UA, ASU Mountain Utah, BYU, Colorado, K St, KU Central TCU, Baylor, TT, Houston, OK State East Iowa State, Cincy, UVW, UCF, USF Iowa St gets screwed in this set up, but with that big a conference, someone is going to be and every other division is pretty nicely set up geographically.
