Just be honest and say it's about money. If the “having a kid” rumor is true, sounds like a good reason to be trying to make as much money in his last 2 years of eligibility. I read somewhere he’s getting around 350K? Sounds like a good decision by him to take care of his family. |

Yeah, but he's gone to UVA and will have less competition for playing time there compared to going against Gwath & Compton Says something about the program that's been built at SDSU (built by Fish, taken to new heights by Dutch) Less competition? Saunders was going to be the starter. Gwath has great skill but hasn’t played at all and will be rusty. Compton big physical talent is still a true freshman. Just stop with the he was going to be scared of the competition. That's true But...what if one of the newcomers shines enough to take Saunders' spot some time in the middle of the season? Just based on past production the new guy doesn't even have to be a Freshman of the Year guy but above average in order to do so |

he will either bang inside or find himself on the bench He seems like a nice kid but he seems to lack that killer instinct that drives a lot of elite athletes. I remember when Jamaal gave up a ton of size when he was the 4 for a season and he was much more physical inside than a much bigger Saunders One guy that has that killer instinct is Byrd. He seems to love to compete physically. I remember Mitchell which he was on the court just looked angry and played that way. |

UVA fans are hyped on their board about getting a muscular PF who can bang inside They're gonna be really disappointed 😂 Yeah, he played here more like a SF, Soft Forward. |

Wouldn't mind if we get another Gwath type for next year. Late blooming HS senior with length. Only way we are going to get players with elite length is to develop them in the NIL era.
