The only damaging news is that democrat mr. goldman and cohen met to discuss cohen's testimony many times that is witness tampering. So many court violations by persecutors and coached witnesses that it is time for a mistrial as no evidence of a Trump crime that bragg doesn't mention the crime that happened. Trump is innocent. Court rules mandate the exact crime be listed by persecutors. Time to disbar the just us merchan.

Closing arguments will begin Tuesday, with the expectation the case could go to the jury a week from today (no court on Wednesday.)

Even the liberal media of the New York Times with the headline Trump's lawyer assailed Cohen's testimony and Yahoo News reported that Anderson Cooper said he doubts the Cohen testimony under the Trump lawyer's cross-examination testimony if he were on this jury. There is a standard in courts of guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Trump is innocent as this case is politically based.

Cohen is not the only witness to testify...documents and right-wing personnel/evidence back up what he says to be true...lastly, Trump hired and used Cohen for years because of his traits/ character...so even if Cohen is a low-down-dirty-rotten-lying scoundrel...Trump found it to be a good quality...remember...he only hires the best people.....

They have more than evidence to get a guilty verdict. Trump admitted outside the courtroom he had an NDA with Stormy Daniels (Oops?) and admitted in a separate case he reimbursed Cohen the $130,000 hush money payment. They have documentary evidence, they have testimony, they have pretty much all they need, even without Todd Blanche's sloppy cross-examination skills.

Prosecution rests. Defense somehow thought it was a good idea to put Robert Costello on the stand, someone with even less credibility than a Michael Cohen. Costello rolled his eyes at the judge, attempted to strike his own statement from the record...and the courtroom was eventually cleared so Costello could learn the rules of decorum. I think the case goes to the jury by next week.

This just us merchan in this case is the one who needs to learn decorum. The defense has an expert from F.E.C. who will testify that it was a personal payment and not from campaign donations but merchan is limiting that testimony that proves former President Trump innocent. During the heated exchange, merchan said to Costello "get out of the courtroom. now". That is no way for a just us to treat a witness and is grounds for merchan to lose his law license and judge position.

(Not sure why I'm engaging with someone with a mental deficit, but here we are.) Merchan told the jury to step out and then admonished Costello. It's his courtroom, he controls the mechanics that are inside it. I've had to testify multiple times in cases, the expectations are clear and the judge sets them. You do not hijack the proceedings.

Court standards 101 requires an unanimous verdict for guilt or innocence in criminal cases. Yet, mr. merchan says this jury can reach a verdict without the unanimous rule. Doing this makes it a fatal error in this case and subjects merchan to judicial consequences.

Doing this makes it a fatal error in this case and subjects merchan to judicial consequences. Conviction on all 34 counts requires unanimity. Acquittal on all counts requires unanimity. There's not one verdict in this case, there are 34. You might want to have a clue what you're talking about, Robot 3000.

Doing this makes it a fatal error in this case and subjects merchan to judicial consequences. I think I finally understand what you're trying to say. All Judge Merchan said was that the jury does not need to agree unanimously on the underlying predicate crime, but they still have to agree that the predicate crime took place. The felony verdict still has to be unanimous.

just a despicable POS of a human. He reveres nothing. Not our history, nature, others, religion..nothing. He must feel nothing inside. The only thing he has is power over others. When he drops, even his most fervent followers won't shed a tear.

When he drops, even his most fervent followers won't shed a tear. There are many "worst" things a person can be: A coward. A hypocrite. But I think worst of all is having a life defined by entitlement, extravagance and luxury, while simultaneously building a false construct that the world is out to get you at every turn and whatever you have is never enough.

In all seriousness, a silly and selfish move, including what happened afterwards...to give ammo to the MAGA crowd to reinforce the theory of "political" prosecution. Let the evidence speak for itself - Not the campaign's smartest or finest hour.

Closing arguments have wrapped, with jury instructions to come tomorrow morning. It's entirely possible we could have a convicted felon running for president by the end of the week.
