UConn's gonna hang another 30 point spread on Illinois today. 20-0 run. Looks just like the Aztecs game. Close first half, complete implosion by Illinois in the 2nd half. Unbelievable. Illinois did not score a point for 15 minutes.

I don't think we have anything to hang our head about, we are at least as good as the 3 seed Illnois. We crushed Yale the previous round. We deserved to get to the Sweet 16.

This game really shows that Thursday's blowout was no fluke. Illinois literally did no better.

If this UConn team can finish things off in the tourney they go down as an all-time team. Put em up there with the likes of '12 Kentucky, '08 Kansas, Back to Back Gators, '01 Duke, '90 Rebels, '82 Heels, '76 Hoosiers, whoever. These guys are showing that they may be that good.

At this point in the Tournament, I don't remember any previous team being so dominant over the rest of the field game after game after game.

I agree. This is the best college team I’ve seen in memory.

What’s weird is I’m trying to figure out how they are SO good? They grabbed a couple portal guts from mid majors and they are both GREAT. One an All American, the other also playing like one

I that game, Clingan was huge and that helps explain how they dominated. He really didn’t hurt us much until the game was decided. We had a complete meltdown like Illinois so maybe they have some mysterious ability to cause opponents to lose their minds.

I’d have turned that game off when it got out of hand but they were playing such beautiful amazing basketball it was so entertaining

I mean Castle is the 9th ranked freshman recruit in his class and is projected to be a lottery pick.

I think it might be next level compared to any year.  Their average margin of victory in this years Tournament so is 27.8 points.  I don't remember that kind of margin through the Elite 8 before.

I posted earlier this is the best team in my recent memory

My point was they dominated last season and the same program - which lost a number of guys off that powerhouse national championship that was probably most dominant in memory … and this team is next level beyond even last year’s UConn team.

This is 2 seasons in a row that are next level beyond any other I’ve seen in years.
