The other side of the case is a valid one, and probably explains why the referee crew will no longer be a part of the tournament. They were inconsistent in their calls, and we were the beneficiaries of the refs poor performance. Move on to the FAU game for goodness sake. I wouldn't say that we were the beneficiary of their performance - just on that specific play we were. They called 11 fouls on both teams, and Creighton shot more free throws There is no way to say we did not benefit from inconsistent referee calls. We also WON THE GAME on a specific call. Move on PLEASE. We have a national semifinal and I have no time for a rules seminar on a fan message board. If you simply want the last word, have it. Yes, we won on a good call. And as bad as the refs were, their poor overall judgment accrued to the Aztecs benefit. The NCAA saw fit not to promote that crew. Closed case. Creighton is just mad because there were so many bad calls leading up to the final two plays.

Creighton's mad because the game was decided on a relatively soft call after an entire game where the soft stuff wasn't called. That's it, full stop.

Not being condescending, but it's difficult to express tone on the internet, and I'm not willing to diagram sentences for the English majors out there.
Here is the last batch of redundant talk ...
"Soft stuff wasn't called" = "so many bad calls" = Why Creighton is mad.
My Last thread comment: WE DO NOT CARE. Go Aztecs. Beat FAU.

Oldie Out I remember this epic play, with Kalkbrenner throwing his elbow into Mensahs neck, and a no call. Doesn't matter now!!! This was typical throughout the game so the salty tears from The Haters is like a special seasoning that makes this meal taste even more delicious. GO Aztecs!
