I'm afraid he has to if we have a chance at the finals.

I think this was the LOWEST total points in a game in the entire tournament. No, Pitt and Iowa State was 59-41. Wow. Jeez, did half of Iowa State's team foul out, or stroke out?

Not that concerned about Bradley. He's always got the biggest target on his back of any AZZZZZZZZZZtec as far as these postseason defensive schemes are concerned. The opponents don't know the AZZZZZZZZZtecs except that MB is their most consistent offense. They're focused on trying to break the AZZZZZZZtec D.
So for their own defense they focus their attack on what they perceive as the AZZZZZZZtecs' best scorer.
Now Micah Parrish was another story. No idea where his head was at today. People have bad days. His was Groundhog Day Horrible.

Does anyone know exactly what the ruling that eded the game? It looked like it was SDSU ball with .3 seconds left. Did the guy throwing it in step on the endline?

Yep, huge play and huge bucket and free throws at the end, but he was a invisible up until that point. He was invisible again today, but we got it done. I really expected that we were going to need more from Bradley on the offensive side to advance. I never would have believed it, otherwise. You could really see he was feeling stressed today, and not playing free. Hope he calms down Saturday. On the other side of the coin was Parrish, who at one point went World B. Free for about 3 minutes!!..they weren't going in..but he was gonna gun. Great reference about World B Free, the man the myth The Shooting Machine

I believe they called time over as the clock did not start when the players touched it so they extrapolated what the time remaining would be and time was up. Update: Yes

Butler had an absolutely brilliant game today on both ends of the court. 18 points, and very solid defense. Kudos to him.

But the entire line is out of bounds. He would have had to step beyond the line to have a violation. When you're in bounds any touch of the line puts you out of bounds because the entire line is out of bounds.

Kind of nuts how the last two games against them in the tournament came down to the last few seconds at the end of each game.

Dutch's practice this next week: Monday - practice inbounds Tuesday - practice inbounds Wednesday - practice inbounds Thursday - practice inbounds Friday - practice inbounds They should inbound the ball like FAU does. Love the way they do it will all players behind the pine like a flag football team going out for a pass. This. I saw that in their Sweet 16 game and that looked like a really smart way to get the ball in. It worked quite well without all of the anxiety we seem to deal with.

Update: Yes FYI, even with the delayed start on the clock, the ball went out of bounds with 0.3 seconds remaining. It's impossible to catch and shoot a ball with 0.2 or less seconds remaining. So the game is over as long as the refs can determine the clock was delayed at least 0.1 seconds.

You couldn't catch the ball and shoot but you could throw the inbounds in front of the rim and try for a tip in. That would be kind of scary with their center.

I thought it landed out of bounds at 0.2 seconds with the natural clock for a moot point since they couldn't catch and shoot it.

I have never understood why Dutcher doesn't put a tall player in front of the in bounding player passing it in. It would disrupt the passer and make it harder seeing where the pass should go.
