Of course, it was a joke. I was mocking all the charlatans. I had every scenario covered; State goes to the PAC, State goes to the big12, State stays in the MWC. For timing, I went with as soon as. WHich means anytime after tomorrow. I couldn't be possibly wrong unless something was announced last night. But I had that covered, just throw in that everything is fluid aka change. You missed the scenario where SDSU goes to the SEC in response to the B1G taking LA.  I have it covered. "My source says it's all very fluid. Could go any direction." |

SDSU fans, more than most fans know all about bad things happening to State… for the longest times we were the “sleeping giants”… we have known decades of terrible teams and coaches… Now… not so much… we have good cos he’s, programs and leadership at the AD level as well as at the President level… Can something not si positive happen, of course… as of right now… both the P12 and B12 have offers for State that have been discussed and in the case of the P12 conditionally accepted… Could the P12 blow up… yep could the Media deal be too low for the P12 to add folks, yep… anything is possible… |

SDSU would pay the extra money. It would suck, but it's worth paying an extra $16m to avoid an extra year in the MWC. After accounting for the increase in revenue from being in the PAC-12 at even a half share it will only be an extra $6-$8m out of pocket, which SDSU can afford. I think Fresno would also pay the extra money if they get invited to the Big-12 after June 30th. Stop thinking of SDSU and Fresno are paupers. A one-time cost that's more than made up in long term revenue isn't going to break either school. |

This group has demonstrated in recent history an ability to get things (ok except perhaps for canopies  ) done expeditiously and well. I'd expect no different result from a simple thing such as when to announce we're leaving. One thing that will happen though is that none of us will bother spending any time on the Bulldog equivalent of AM to troll them. |

The main issue with "our" deadline, is that is is OUR deadline. I suspect Kliavkoff and the PAC Pack are unconcerned, if not obdurate, regarding June 30th. |

I was watching / listening to a BIG Podcaster yesterday - commented that the BIG has a new Commissioner and the thoughts are that he is very likely going to want work on a lot of internal things for the BIG and for at least the next few years hold off on any expansion
So it would seem that for the Ducks and Huskies any hopes for a BIG invite with be on hold
