What am I hearing is that SDSU has been in discussions with the B12 and PAC 12. They could move to either conference as soon as tomorrow. But they are considering staying in the mountain west. My source says it's all very fluid. Could go any direction. Translation: "We're still talking but we're worried that there won't be a PAC 12 left to join and we may not get the invitation to the Big 12 that we hoped for so we may be stuck in the MWC." It was a joke… was your response? |

Forget about MHver3. There was an executive session of the CU regents today:
RESOLVED that the Board of Regents go into executive session. As permitted by section 24-6-402 (3), Colorado Revised Statutes, the board will discuss the following matter as announced and pursuant to the subsection as listed below:
- (a)(II), Legal advice on a specific matter - athletics matters
Motion by Ilana Spiegel, second by Ken Montera.
Final Resolution: Motion adopted
Yes: Nolbert Chavez, Glen Gallegos, Frank McNulty, Ken Montera, Lesley Smith, Ilana Spiegel
Not present at vote: Callie Rennison, Mark VanDriel

Most white wine sauces seem to be like half-butter, and I'm one of those weird people who really hates butter. Marinara all day for me -- or a good curry. Curry might demographically be more west coast... so that must mean a PAC invite coming soon. |

Nobody "considers staying" in the MWC if they have a P-5 option. EDIT: To be clear, this wouldn't be good news for us either. Recall that the one scenario that worried me the most was that of the PAC falling apart too rapidly -- leaving us (along with you) as one maybe 8 schools that wanted into the Big 12. Whatever happens SDSU will end up in the same or better conference than Fresno. There is no scenario where Fresno advances ahead of us. Deep down you have to know it. |

I had every scenario covered; State goes to the PAC, State goes to the big12, State stays in the MWC. For timing, I went with as soon as. WHich means anytime after tomorrow.
