But, Boise does have a track record of being right on here. You? Notsomuch. I don't know what I've got wrong yet -- everything is pretty much tbd. But I admit that you folks don't agree with pretty much anything that I've opined. Probably not the same thing tho. Do you understand what track record means? Boise has one here that precedes the talk of realignment. He routinely has had good information on recruits coming in and signing. I tend to trust him and if he is correct this time I am nominating him for god status. A lesser god, but a god nonetheless. Plus there have been others, one who worked decades in the administration office, who have corroborated what Boise has said. |

Nope, we ascended to the top four on their '4 corners" list because Utah said they weren't interested which leads the average B12 fanatic to become incredibly butthurt. To me honest, however, only ASU and Colorado meets or exceeds our attractiveness in terms of B12 expansion. Actually, the population of our TV market is greater than the population of the entire state of Colorado -- and we don't split our market with a local version of Colorado State. Again I can't prove it but my understanding is that our TV revenues far surpass those of Colorado. Gotta go work. Sorry, I know you're holding on to my every word. The population of Colorado is 5.8 Million. God, Phoenix can only claim about 4.8 Million so no wonder why Fresno is holding out for that imminent SEC invitation. I still don't want to argue this because there can be no conclusive winner. We're just going to spit at each other. We'll know soon enough what ESPN/Fox consider our TV market to be. |

You just said your market was larger than the population of Colorado. Let look at just milage differences from Sacramento to a couple other areas. Just two San Francisco to Sactown 87 miles. Fresno to Sactown 170 miles. Having grown up in the Bay Area and many High School friends that have moved to Sacramento none of them considered Fresno State as a program they follow. Most follow Cal and Stanford. Fresneck is just delusional and grasping at straws. |

ESPN and Fox told the B12 that SDSU is worth a “full valuation” the same as Colorado, ASU etc. Everybody is trying to control a narrative. I don't believe your sources any more than I believe mine. That comes from multiple B12 folks. It is not from my sources. |

What am I hearing is that SDSU has been in discussions with the B12 and PAC 12. They could move to either conference as soon as tomorrow. But they are considering staying in the mountain west. My source says it's all very fluid. Could go any direction. |

Translation: "We're still talking but we're worried that there won't be a PAC 12 left to join and we may not get the invitation to the Big 12 that we hoped for so we may be stuck in the MWC." Nobody "considers staying" in the MWC if they have a P-5 option. EDIT: To be clear, this wouldn't be good news for us either. Recall that the one scenario that worried me the most was that of the PAC falling apart too rapidly -- leaving us (along with you) as one maybe 8 schools that wanted into the Big 12. |
