I plan on voting for myself.
My senior in 99 l, I would play some pick up games with the team.
I got owned and embarassed, but I am still my favorite player.
Kwahi Leonard is my second.

KL, Josh Davis, Yanni, Tim Shelton, Randy Holcom, Michael Cage, (can't think of first name at this minute) Leonard Allen. Not necessarily in this order? FIFY

Out the woodwork for this one... Because, if I'm naming 2 or 3 of my fav Aztec ballers, TIM SHELTON is a must on that list for me!! Expected to see his name show up more here.. Shouts aztecfred. (Huge smiles seeing so many of these fan-favorite Aztecs for Life being listed.) Go Aztecs! -BRB

I am shocked Al Faux isn’t getting more love! You guys who have been around the longest should be giving Al some love as well. He was the original outside bomber and didn’t miss. Just Dee Money and I showing him love. Still all good choices with everyone. Dude hit some big shots back in the day. I agree with the comments about Lo Wade and pre-USC Tony Bland since he hasn’t been called out as he was a good transfer and player for us

I agree with everyone but I am going with Al Faux as he was lights out. Will always be in my Top 3 with Randy and Kawhi. Absolutely agree.

One of,if not my favorite players. Not sure why I couldn't remember his first name? Especially since I always bring him up and people say who. Great shot blocker, got up so quick.

Lots of fun memories of that squad.

Dunks hmm. J Franklin off the backboard #1, #2 Kawaii saves the ball then gets it back in transition for the dunk, #3 Mitchell almost breaking the rim off. Kawaii actually has a lot of really good dunks that he made look really easy in his time at SDSU.
Other memorable ones include when Polee picked Aaron Gordon's pocket in the NCAA tournament and soared in for a monster transition dunk, or Josh Davis taking it the length of the floor and dunking it against Kansas.
Honestly, as horrible as Keshad's play was in the last game, I think that he will end up on the list of most memorable dunks in a couple of years. His reverse slam in the game against St. Katherine was so effortless, my god.

Its been said that getting old is better than the alternative. I say that sometimes that margin of "better" gets really, really small.

No order, but...
Shep, Hemsley, DJ Gay, Billy, X, Matt Mitchell, Wade. (Edit: Christ... I left out JJ. Of course JJ belongs on this list!)
And -- as tribute to my dad who slogged through all those games on The Mtn at home in L.A. while I sat at Cox --
Ryan Amaroso!!
I think there's every chance that Jordan Schackel breaks into this group by the end of the year. He is the exact kind of player I love: The ones who show up freshman year and I pronounce a "You've gotta be joking!" -- and then four year later I'm at the top of the arena shedding tears on Senior Night because I can't believe how much they've developed in so short a time.

I still haven't seen a poor choice for favorite player(s) from anyone.

DJ Gay - a nobody at the beginning transforming into a great player at the end!

I would have trouble narrowing it to 20. Through the years we have had som really great player as well as those that weren't quite as good but were really easy to root for.

Josh Davis is still my favorite tranfer Nobody rebounded like he did Dude got ripped a new one by this board after first big game (was it Arizona???)... and then he crushed it at Kansas. He played hard. I remember watching our Aztecs at SJSU and Josh was picking his man up 3/4 court and hounding him. That's all I needed to see to love the guy! That's what I loved about him. His motor is unique.

I take back my list..Josh Davis is on! He was crushing Arizona on the boards by himself in that NCAA game and had us up at half. He got hurt in the second half and it was over. I've never seen a guy dominate the boards for us like he did that day..and they had a 7 footer.

Sheesh! I can't believe you guys are still able to talk, hold conversations, remember anything (especially the games), type and read anything let alone AztecMesa.
