$502,993...Not bad for a weekends worth of golf. Now c'mon. He had to play Thurs/Fri, too. So it only comes out to about $125k per day. I feel for these guys.

He picked the wrong time for a bad round. The scary thing is it wasn't a bad round. He shot under the course average for the day. Unfortunate streak of bogey's late, but it wouldn't have mattered. Nobody was catching DeChambeau. Unbelievable "Tiger-esque" round by him on Sunday. Taking the course average into account, he was basically 8 under on the day. Another great US Open for him. Maybe next year is the year, given its being played at Torrey! Would be fitting that would be the year to break through!!

Believe it's officially Bernardo Heights CC, but I'm sure he's playing a lot of rounds at Torrey.

I have a buddy that is member at BHCC, and that is indeed where Xander is a member locally (at least as of a couple of years ago). Although one of my regular Sunday golf group guys said he has run in to Xander a couple of times around the county. He was playing the Grand Del Mar during the down time on the PGA tour and Xander was out there with Charlie Hoffman. I think X can walk on to any course in SD county right now and be treated like royalty.

Charlie Hoffman says Xander is the only golfer he wont gamble with, every time they play Xander shoots like 8 under.

Yep, being ranked in the top 10 in the world in ANY trade usually warrants royalty treatment by its constituents!

Xander is all alone in second place after 8 holes at the CJ Cup in Las Vegas this Thursday afternoon (10/15/20).....He's 5 under par with most of the big guys playing in this tournament.

I'd love to walk the ropes of this tournament. I've never been to Shadow Creek, which is probably the west coast's version of Augusta in prime condition. Good to see him doing well! Hopefully he repeats that today.
