They are empty and largely meaningless numbers, as you have now seen. They were undone in the span of 90 days, thanks to this trainwreck of an admimistration. Political talking points, with no substance. Take away the empty stats and you're left with racism, cowardice, hatred and petulant behavior. Well, when you basically shut down a country and just about everybody goes home. I'm just sayin Ryan. It's almost like there was no plan to deal with it on a national level. You can have the excuses, I see the root of the problem, more than just the end result myself. Ask yourself how other countries dominated this, yet we're 5 months in and still getting worse. Florida has more cases than ALL of Europe now. The economy was artificially inflated and had been for years.

Europe has over 190,000 dead from COVID19 while Florida has 3,419.

He claims he was never briefed about the Russian bounties (which has been debunked as nonsense and has been confirmed by multiple sources) Given that the Taliban has denied it being real, Russia has denied it being real, the Administration has denied it being real, and there being no record of such a thing appearing the Presidential Daily Briefing which is where an Intelligence Agency would put such a thing if it were real, I'd like to know who your "multiple sources" are. As of now it appears the NY Times made it up. If it turns out that you were just repeating lies then I think you owe Donald Trump an apology for smearing his good name.

You are comparing Florida to Europe and you think that makes Florida look bad? Europe has over 190,000 dead from COVID19 while Florida has 3,419. I said new cases, not deaths. Florida has willfully manipulated data - They have a huge abnormal pneumonia death rate for 2020, which just means they shifted statistics around to paint a bettwr picture of what's happening in reality. Since deaths lag new cases by 2-4 weeks, let's not go celebrating Florida yet. And it's not just Florida, either. Many states look awful right now and it's solely due to the fact that there is a leadership vacuum in our capital. A nationwide pandemic needs a nationwide level of responsibility. A quarter of a million people are probably going to pay the price based on current projections, and that's just the deaths. That doesn't factor in the people with permanent lung damagw, cardiovascular complications, diabetics or people who are likely immunocompromised for life.

The USA is a huge country for one. Really? That's the defense? Is the U.S. bigger than all the countries in the European Union, John? While it may have more geographic area, it has 100 million fewer people.

The flu doesn't destroy your lungs and cause people in their 30's to have strokes.

What do you think the percentage of those affected would have had issues with the regular flu? Wilma Wooten, head of the public health here in San Diego, just said the death rate was 3%. So that's 15-30 times more than the typical seasonal flu. Bars in the county have been shut down again.

Thanks

From what I understand, a situation like this gets vetted first and then if it holds water it gets to the President.

And according to our biggest ally in the known world, it was absolutely legitimate. And now the AP has doubled down on their story. It's pretty simple : The president hasn't said a WORD on Russia throughout this entire breaking news cycle. Why...?

It's pretty simple : The president hasn't said a WORD on Russia throughout this entire breaking news cycle. Why...? Interesting. The first thing guilty people to do is attack the source. The AP, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and the New York Times all corroborate the story. Sky News in the UK confirms British intelligence that said they were Taliban/Russian targets as well. But let's pretend in a perfect world the president had no advanced knowledge and saw this when it broke on Friday for the first time. He didn't order an investigation. He didn't convene the National Security Council. He didn't hold meetings with the DNI. He golfed.

He did order an investigation which is why we know about the document trail and the reason the President wasn't briefed originally. There is constant communication between the White House and the Director of National Intelligence and the NSC wasn't convened because the DNI's evaluation of the report.
