Nice win over csu tonight. Now beat Reno in the next game to maybe take the no. 5 seed and a bye with San Jose beating unlv. Then it comes down to the tiebreaker. The AZTECS and unlv split the two games.

This team has gone7,8, 9, 8, 7th in the last 6 years. i know it's a budget thing but, come on! Still want to know why they continue to tuck the legs of their shorts up inside their shorts? Not a good look, kind of have that over loaded diaper look. Some changes need to be made, not just the uniforms. |

When they lost one of their best players in Adams early they looked lost for a while, but this is a completely different team than a month ago. Much more cohesive and confident. They lost 2 extremely close games to 2 of the better teams, so not far from top 4. Excellent job of coaching over the past 3-4 weeks and hope they pull it off. |

The most important player they lost was Murray who transferred to California. Which made losing Adams even bigger. She was the 2nd leading scorer at the time (& 3rd leading scorer last year just behind Murray), and someone they were counting on. They've replaced Murray with Kalmer, who IMO is as good if not better, but losing the 2nd player to injury really set them back. Luckily she'll be back next year. Not they need to figure out how to replace Kalmer. With Adams this team could be looking at 2nd or 3rd place IMO. |

I guess I am just old fashion, I understood the the over-sized, but this just looks BAD! Just wondering, Are the other Jordan teams sporting these looks? |

Seriously, who cares what brand they're wearing? How does that change who should & shouldn't wear a particular style? Did you think the short shorts actually looked good in the 70's? How foolish was that perception today! We looked like idiots. I'm not a fan of the look but what I'm a fan of is letting players actually live the 2020 & not 1980! Coach Terry was at the La Jolla Country Day open division playoff game last night, with at least two assistants. My assumption: they were there to see freshman Brea Cunningham from LJCD and junior Sylena Peterson from Bonita Vista. Sylena is Ray Peterson's daughter (SDSU football '92-'95) and lightning quick like her dad. Brea is one of the top freshman post players in the country. It was a great game with a 2 point win for LJCD, who are still ranked either #1 or #2 in the country by the various rating services.

I sat front row with my little girl for the finale tonight.
#25 can flat out ball. She expended a ton of energy on both ends through the first 3 quarters, and I think that's why she had a quiet 4th. By that point the Aztec W was pretty well bagged, anyway.

Nothing against Coach Terry, she has recruited quality student athletes and they have competed hard each year. However, if her contract is up at the end of the year how in the world do you feel comfortable enough to give her multiple years on a new contract? I think with other moves we've seen JD make after the season for soccer and volleyball that women's basketball will be next.

In the women's MWC tournament, the Aztecs lose to last-place and #11 seed Utah State (2-16 in conference, 8-22 overall).
