That was a fun read. That Murphy guy is just killing it in that thread. And he's right Gonzaga would be better off in the MWC. In addition to Gonzaga and BYU some kept bringing up the MW adding Witcha St., oh please let it be so. |

San Jose is a Cal State school, it could slide into the Big West with Long Beach, Fullerton and Northridge. I know such an outcome would be the second best side effect for most of y'all, but that ain't happening. Cal State - UC politics and all. |

I think adding Gonzaga for BB and Olympic sports is a no brainer. Despite my hatred for all that is BYU adding them WITH football improves the conference

If they come back we will really regret it in the future. In the words of Captain Kirk, "Don't believe them. Don't trust them."
Bringing in Gonzaga is one thing, but BYU? Nothing good will come of that. BYU always finds a way to make sure that BYU is benefited at the expense of the other teams in the conference. Don't do it.

Let's be honest here.. St. Mary's would make zero sense to bring in. They could quickly become a non factor in hoops at any time and bring nothing else to the table.

On Aztec Mesa, personal sniping can happen on the second post and is almost guaranteed by the 5th.
They really know how to stay on topic there. Here, it's like an ADHD meeting mashed up with anger management counseling.

Adding Gonzaga would be awesome. Don’t let BYU back in, even with football. It seems tempting but remember what a giant pain they were on so many levels? Cheating replay officials. Accusations of racial taunting by their players. 22 year old freshmen. We are better off with out them. Let them enjoy a Zagless WCC and their football independence.

I went to the Zags/Zoobs game last night at the Orleans. Zags got hot and trounced the Zoobs by 20 after holding a 30+ point lead. Fun to watch their fans shut the hell up when they got behind.
