You can't turn down an offer from a Ivy school in my opinion. Good for him.

Even though they don't offer scholarships, I could never shade a kid for choosing an Ivy given the opportunity. 95% of college athletes will never sniff the pros, so it ain't a bad plan at all to get a Harvard BA/S if you're not a one and done. And if you ARE good enough to make it? Playing at an Ivy won't stop you. I'm surprised (surprised may not be exactly the right word) more borderline 4/5*s don't take advantage of the opportunity.

College basketball is 4 years...a Harvard degree is for life...can't fault him at all...
