That's where we differ. A "winning" season in which nearly every loss comes to a team with a winning record and vice versa is not nearly as bad as a losing record, but I would never call it "good." I'm surprised that you would. We've earned wins over teams with winning records John. You play who's on your schedule, it's not our fault that most of what is left in this conference is a bag of poo. It is the fault of SDSU tho that it keeps schedule cream puff OOC games, this team has been average for 2 years.

We averaged 37k without the Sky Show. That's was only last year, when you finally had a decent year. Bravo. What was attendance like during the Chuck Long reign of error? Or even the first couple years of Hoke? Yep, that's it, SDSU fans are arrogant, frontrunning bastards. Like I said, It's only a few that are giving SDSU this new reputation. People who know where SDSU really is are happy with the team being competitive but are not arrogant about it. However, here are the actual numbers for attendance the last decade including the Sky Show. SDSU football turnstile attendance•With season record: •2002: 19,391/ 4-9 •2003: 18,456/ 6-6 •2004: 28,336 / 4-7 •2005: 25,351 / 5-7 •2006: 21,670 / 3-9 •2007: 17,868 / 4-8 •2008: 17,344 / 2-10 •2009: 17,622 / 4-8 •2010: 22,717 / 9-4 •2011: 28,435/ 8-5 •Note: Turnstile counts measure actual bodies passing through stadium gates. SDSU's announced attendance average of 39,865 for 2011 reflects tickets distributed but not necessarily purchased or used. SDSU football ticket revenue •2005 projection: $2.5 million •2005 actual: $2.3 million •2006 projection: $3 million •2006 actual: $1.9 million •2007 projection: $2.25 million •2007 actual: $1.89 million •2008 projection: $1.775 million •2008 actual: $1.425 million •2009 projection: $1.496 million •2009 actual: $1.397 million •2010 projection: $1.394 million •2010 actual: $1.546 million •2011 projection: $1.92 million •2011 actual: $2.357 million www.utsandiego.com/news/2012/feb/08/sdsu-football-continues-financial-progress/"Because a high percentage of empty seats is counted in its announced attendance, the difference between the two sometimes becomes a punch line. For example, SDSU announced a crowd of 28,362 for its Nov. 5 home game against New Mexico, a number 67 percent higher than the number of people actually in the crowd, according to the turnstiles (16,979)" "Sports marketing analysts have said that sports organizations have an incentive to announce as large a number as possible. That’s because a big number creates an impression in the public that their games are hot tickets." Overall, not that impressive. 2 years of average isn't success. Not being an SDSU fan, what do I know

UNR has been very underrated in football the last few years. They will be solid this year. I wouldn't mind if they came along the BE ride with SDSU. as long as they show some willingness to make a BW move work, I wouldn't have a problem with Nevada hoops returning

I just like pissing off team knowitall. But hey, I didn't think realistically SDSU would get an invite either. (Because they deserve it and all ) UNR hoops is better off in the MWC at this point. Let's not forget 4 teams made the NCAA'S last year. I will say Nevada hoops wouldn't hurt the BW though. Again, what do I know?

Not being an SDSU fan, what do I know Hey man, I know not ALL SDSU fans are arrogant bastards. I also know that it's a huge drop down in hoops for your program. But for some of these arrogant bastards to constantly bitch and complain about the BW, is just too much. And for those arrogant bastards, I get it, this is a SDSU board. But, that doesn't mean you won't get a response by fans of other BW teams. Always remember, don't bite the hand that feeds you, even if it is only crumbs. As for attendance, I know every school lies about attendance. I know I can come down for the Army game and get tixs for $10 all day long and sit anywhere I went at the Murph.

Provided there’s a big enough pool to draw from, I find the best indicator of intelligence and knowledge to be the ability to post without relying on the edit feature.
