It will undoubtedly be an epic, epic season next year for both of us...and you have to admit that once Rice and Hudson headed to UNLV, the excitement in that city for the team and even the respectability around the nation for UNLV seems to be elevated quite a bit. Not at all close to saying that Rice is a bad coach. Hell...Fish's first couple seasons were PRETTTYY rough. With that said...Cant wait to shut down the Rebs next year! Hutson won't be there much longer I suspect. Sent from my DROID RAZR using ProBoards

It is great that UNLV has loaded up and that both SDSU and UNLV will have top 15 quality teams next season, potentially top 10. When Heath and Slaughter and Abukar crushed the MWC en route to the disappointing loss to Indiana, the conference competition was no fun. However, when the Malcolm, Billy, Kawhi, DJ, Chase, et al. squad had to contend with Jimmer and BYU, the MWC competition was epic, as was the MWC tourney championship win.
It will be much more fun to have such a competition next season. UNLV is definitely the bball team I will miss the most when Aztecs head to the BW. Let's enjoy the last year battling for the MWC title.
