Official signing of NLI is coming up in April, after the NCAA is done, would guess the top recruits #1,#2 # 8,will be watching what guys will be leaving school early and deciding where they are going to go, then the dominoes start to fall ,for the remaining recruits, also could find out if guys are going to transfer.

saw an article that said that the Villanova guard declared for the NBA draft and had until April 10 to decide if he wanted to reverse his decision and go back to school . Much earlier then last year , is that correct ?

LBF isn't seeing the floor except for scrub time next year. Same for AW. I don't see Fish asking them to leave, it's probably their own decision. Be part of an elite team with no playing time or start at a lesser school. There are pros and cons to each. --Sent from my HTC Evo-- I disagree in the case of LBF. I can see him playing some (not a ton... but some) meaningful minutes as our most reliable backup PG (WS is more talented but is as of yet unproven). As long as LBF keeps progressing, then he would be the "safe" option as backup at times. Yes he may get some min. Like 4 to 8 a game I'm thinking as backup PG

Maybe Alec Williams can pay his own way next yr? He is from San Juan Cap so maybe he could afford it?

Any of you guys who are "close" to the program, actually know the chances of January coming here and/or AW leaving? Alec Williams has been skipping practices and and had a few verbal conflicts with coaches.

Holy Moly! Those highlights are awesome! Someone please show AW the door because there is no way you can keep a bench player who will see garbage time minutes over a talent like January.

If this is the case; Peace AW I would hope that someone is not spreading false rumors; that would not be a cool. If the story is true then I hope it is confirmed first....or was this said just to get people going?

Alec Williams has been skipping practices and and had a few verbal conflicts with coaches. I don't know if there is any truth in this at all. (Probably not.) But if AW was not going to play a few minutes against NC St.'s bigs, then I don't know if he can expect to get any minutes next year at all.

Alec Williams has been skipping practices and and had a few verbal conflicts with coaches. Don't know if this is true or not but just to be the Devil's Advocate, who could blame him? He didn't play in the last 8 games, has exactly 39 minutes since conference play started, and even Narbeh Ebrahimian got in over him in the TCU game. What's the point of practicing if you're never going to get in the game? The writing isn't just on the wall here, it's flashing in neon on a billboard.

Ebrahimian was ahead of him in the rotation for awhile. If AW couldn't get any min this year... then next yr will be almost impossible for him to get any. If he is on pace to graduate Fish will prob want to keep him for our API score. As I mentioned before maybe he can stay on the squad but pay his own way next yr.
