Is it just a quick mention or is it looking like they are seriously considering?

I hope that if Williams and LB leave, it's a mutual decision.

I agree, and the best cast scenario really would be for January to enroll in prep school and become a 2013 recruit for us. That would be awesome.

Read the article, makes me excited that we will still be able to land these recruits regardless of the conference, its more about "our program" and not whose conference we r in

Not sure what "path" you're referring to. If you mean, helping players find better situations where they can actually get playing time, we are already far down that road. Steve Sir, Jon Pastorek, Tyrone Shelley, most of the players Fisher when he got here. I'm sure we can figure come up with a long list. If your recall, someone close to Cole Huff came onto the board to tell us what Coach Fisher told Huff after it became clear Huff wouldn't be getting much playing time at State. In so many words Coach Fisher reminded Huff that scholarships are not four year agreements but are renewed on a year to year basis. Huff withdrew his commitment.
Like it or not, we've been down this road many times with many players.

Any chance you can copy/paste the article? I suffer from chronic cheapness and cannot see myself paying for content I would only read on ocassion.
If I'm JJ O'Brien I'm considering decommitting...just won't be much chance of court time now that our recruiting has taken off to new levels and a SF-heavy roster. No offense to his ability or game - just foresee AW-type playing time at best.

Can't copy/paste material behind pay-walls and JJ obrien is already enrolled so I think if he left he'd have to sit out another? Doesn't seem likely.

JJ is a very good player and the best player on the team in practice right now. Get a f***ing clue on what you are talking about before posting.

No he's not, frankly he isn't close, but he can help off the bench with his rebounding and defense.

I never see JJ's name posted on these message boards (only referring to 5-star posters) regarding how the current practices look nor with excitement about JJ as part of 2013+. So its not a reach to assume his impact is diminished with all these additional SF signings. Is that not reasonable? Sorry if that struck a personal chord. Since you may be privy to practices please provide some insight?

I told you all you need to be concerned with. Not hearing his name or seeing his name on a message board so he doesn't figure into the team, how f***ing stupid!

AztecTom, what have u heard on Polee in practice? Yes, he is also very good in practice as well. Decent shooter and supposedly highest vert ever of any player to come to State.

I'm more concerned about what he does when he is up in the air, than can he jump high. I know nothing of the kid, other than his name. This is not a judgement statement. I would just much rather here, the kid shoots lights out, than dude jumps high. This is a common statement read across numerous recruiting trails about athletic kids.
Watching Air Force, I see few (at best) kids who can jump. But, damn can they shoot! Much more important in my opinion. To reiterate, this is not a negative comment towards him (nor Tom) just curious as to why that statement shows up in recruiting (I realize this kids already on the team) trails all over the net.
