Aztecs have interest in Arkansas Tech (DII) PG, 6'4" Peter Taelon shooting: 50%/41%/87% and averages 18.5 PPR, 5.8 RPG, 2.3 APR & 1.8 SPG. Many suitors from all levels.

We reached out to koren. Think it’s a long shot but might as well try. A player decomitting doesn’t make them a quitter or whatever frantic wants to suggest.

Johnson explained why he decommitted due to family issues, a sick grandparent, and wanted to be home during that time frame, plus he was an 18-year-old kid. We would welcome him, or should I say many of us would welcome him on the Mesa.

Georgetown transfer guard Rowan Brumbaugh has heard from San Diego State. Interesting that the Aztecs are going after taller guards in the portal.

Georgetown transfer guard Rowan Brumbaugh has heard from San Diego State. Interesting that the Aztecs are going after taller guards in the portal. Kinda interesting he will be a sophomore PG same BJ Davis. SDSU needs a upperclassman PG and Center. 3 and D SF. Depends if Parrish come back. I would add a good CG. SDSU have interest in 3 time DPOY center Amari Williams. But he is a super long shot.

SDSU has an interest in 3-time DPOY center Amari Wiams. But he is a super long shot. We recruited Rowan Brumbaugh out of HS in 2021 and went on to sign at Texas, before transferring to Georgetown where he played 31 games, started 20, and shot 41%/37%/79% as an RS freshman with 8.3 PPG, 2.2 RPG & 2.6 APG. So he would be a semi-bounce-back recruit, he was offered May 2021, back in May 2024?

Another one, clear we are going to go aggressively after guards I mean we have to be right? Zero primary ball handlers returning outside of BJ with next to no experience.

to my understanding
a player puts their name in the Portal
schools then respond if they have any interest in the player - and let him know
If the player has an interest in the school they let the school know or post it
Thought that is when SDSU starts to do a deeper dive into the player - as pointed out there are some guys SDSU has formed a list that they have had an interest in - so have a current list then start looking at all the others
Believe in Zeigler article the other day Waters has said that if he decides to play college basketball next season it will be SDSU or check out his Pro options . As for others that could have eligibility -there have not been any indications what they might do - will wait until the end of the season -

would guess that Waters and the former Aztec coach now at USC can relay a good amount of information to Dutcher and Gundo Is there also a 6'8" PF from Stanford originally from San Diego that might be a grad senior or Super Senior Brandon Angel is a 6'8" 240 lb Senior F from Torrey Pines HS.

37% from the field as a Senior in a small conference, No Thank You. Over 800 DI players are in the portal today, expect at least 1,000 more to come. The further we go in March, the better off we will be (within reality - aka NIL)

Do think it is quite important for SDSU to get the extra exposure and getting to the SW 16
