That was because I clarified my comment. He has an open mind and was accepting of other people's opinions? Unlike you who will go on repeatedly telling me where to go? Continue on as the soul arbiter, just realize I will be me, as you will be you. Yeah the backhand comment. “Let me know when someone signs.” Had nothing to do with it. Again, why even comment. Oh right, it is you going you. You seem angry? Taking things too personal? Your feelings were hurt? Apparently not much/anyone else to start running/ongoing back n forth with/about? You like the upset wife that won't get over it and has to have the last word. I'm sittin here watching the Nascar race with nothing else to do. Rant on to your hearts content.

Well it a recruiting page people can rant all they want. But it is annoying for you boo hoo. Again, you can go back and to the main forum.

can we get back to the subject - 2024 Basketball Transfer Portal We can and will, when someone gets his panties in a wad over something someone else says in another post. Now he's interjected someone else into the conversation? Apparently isn't satisfied with just haranguing on about what I thought was an innocuous comment? Especially since I clarified, that it wasn't a back handed slight to Gundo? But, here he is again? I'm starting to take pride in the fact that, I'm finally in one those childish back n forth that ruins a thread. Sorry, but maybe he doesn't know to, never wrestle with pig in the mud, you both get dirty and the pig likes it.

Start looking at 1st Team defensive players, who are from California and you’ll have a good idea of who we are recruiting.
Would love for us to recruit a 40% 3 PR shooter who’s well into 80% from the line who shows he can can score on all 3 levels. But wishes aren’t granted.

Experienced PG over 6'2" (intelligent, high-level defender, high 30% to 40%+ from three, and drive/kick) 2. Skilled/veteran post player 6'9"+ (rim protector, inside scorer, size & muscle, adept pick/roll guy) 3. Capable scoring wing 6'5" + ( decent defender who can hit the open three, and create his own shot)

Stojakovic from Stanford would be a dream get.

might there also be some players from Fresno or Long Beach So, the portal has 400+ names registered, mostly from mid-major schools that didn't perform well, those players who didn't make the tournament, those whose staff was fired, and players who didn't like their situation. I don't see many groundbreaking players' names yet. And only a few guys from the West Coast (except Pepperdine & Cal Poly) The big West Coast names are Dominick Harris 6'4" CG 14 PPG (Gonzaga/LMU), Kobe Sanders 6'8 SG 20 PPG (Cal Poly/El Cajon), Devin Askew PG 6'3 PG (Kentucky/Texas/CAL), AND these three from Pepperdine: Michael Ajay SF 6'7 17 PPG, 10 RPG, Javon Porter PF 6'11 16 PPG 6 RPG, and Houston Mallatte 6'5 Wing 15 PPG 3 RPG. I expect the portal will go from 400+ to over 1,000 by the weekend and plateau above 2,000+ players when all is said and done.

Stojakovic from Stanford would be a dream get. 32.7% from 3 PT this season isn't exactly overwhelming. But the talent *should* be there.

Will the Udub have a few players looking for a new home after Hopkins was fired? There could be a few that want to play on the WC. JMO

Will the Udub have a few players looking for a new home after Hopkins was fired? There could be a few that want to play on the WC. JMO UDub players expected to return next season: Braxton Meah, Wilhelm Breidenbach, Nate Calmese, Franck Kepnang, Wesley Yates III, Christian King, and Samuel Ariyibi. The Huskies also signed 4-star recruit Casimir Chavis and received a verbal commitment from 5-star prospect Zoom Diallo. Koren Johnson and Noah Williams are currently in the transfer portal. (Info from the Seattle Times.)

Kijani Wright, 6'9 225 USC, PF hit the portal. He is a former McDonald’s All-American and also won a gold medal while starting all six games for Team USA at the 2019 FIBA Americas U16 Championships.
Wright was a Top 40 recruit who averaged 4 PPG and 2.6 RPG this season. A sophomore, Wright has appeared in 57 games for USC over the last two seasons but never cracked the starting rotation.
He played HS at Sierra Canyon and the Windward School, and held 20+ offers in major MBB Programs. With two years left to play, I feel that Andy Enfield doesn't develop players at USC, not sure it's who we need, but local to So Cal and was a great HS player.

Not sure that is a position high on our list of needs.

would guess that current player R.Waters for SDSU might have some input on the transfer player from USC K. Wright - would he be able to play the 5 position - also isn't there a former Aztec Assistant coach up there with USC ?
would guess that Dutcher's staff do the next step asking guys in the Portal if they even have interest in SDSU and see if there is a reply
Correct K.Johnson was a recruit that flipped to the Huskies - think in the class with Saunders and Bryd
