Snell "esta en fuego" tonight. Nothing like boosting your trade/contract value at this time of year. How do you trade Snell when he's pitching like he has for the past six weeks? Not a rhetorical quesion… right now he might be the best pitcher in the NL. He's absolutely dominating hitters tonight. Velo - up, wasted pitches - none. Just unreal.

He's had 1 bad game since mid April, and maybe 2-3 "bad" starts on the season. IMO you can remove the "NL" limitation above - has their been a better SP in all of baseball over the past 12 weeks? IMO you can't trade Snell unless we have a bad start after the break & fall 9+ games back in the WC race the final week of July. As what is basically an 10 week rental you'd only get prospects, and probably no can't miss type players. I just can't see us going in that direction but you never know. Hopefully we're 4 games out of the WC by Aug1st & it's all moot.

It was really absurd that the Met's Senga and the Brewer's Burnes got chosen over Snell or Wacha for the All-Star game as a pitching replacements.

Hopefully that burns their hides (especially Snell hailing from Seattle) and they each pitch a no-no in the 2nd half propelling the Pads back into WC contention.

It's 2023. Why are we using pitcher wins to evaluate....anything?

And if Snell had 21 saves, he would have gone.

NL ERA Snell #3 Senga #11 Ks Snell #2 Senga #9 WHps Snell #17 Senga #20 Wins Snell 6 wins Senga 7 wins It's NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!! And nobody is as disappointing as the Mets!

One inning short of a QS today, though inning 5 was a little messy. Still no runs were scored. Left after 82 pitches.

Could easily be at 10+ out as early as tomorrow. Hate to lose Snell, but if they don't intend to offer him anyway…
