Aww crap, this is gonna be another Mods nightmare of meltdown mierda! Take a couple of pre-emptive shots, and you'll be fine.

Missed FT's really hurt... make even a couple of the misses, it changes the game a lot. Add that to CSU shooting 3's way over their normal rate early, and it was a fatal combination. Amazing comeback to make it close, but damn... that was a winnable game, but we just didn't have quite enough to make up for the unconscious deep shots early. They shot early and late all unconscious.

Dude, they couldn't miss for the first 10 minutes. What did we do during that time? We were like 2-12 or something, no? Exactly! And nearly won! On the road no less. Unconscious shooting and home town calls. We just witnessed the Rams ceiling, ours is yet to come.

Do not put in Shep no matter what. Fish didn't. Hopefully a wake up call for Shep. Been waiting for 3 years to see him dominate, he'll i'd settle for consistency

We would have seen this all season from pope if he got the time. I sure hope we see him playing much much more. Best player we have You could definitely see his progression from looking lost out there (on D) to now with much more confidence in his play. I still see him look to O'Brien and AQ For guidance as to where to be on the court. He keeps getting exponentially better each game so the sky is limit for him.

Because CSU can't play any better. It's now our turn to play the bottom half of the league. We still have to go at UNLV and at UNM. Nothing is given. One things for sure, Malik just auditioned to take a huge chunk of *someones* minutes...

We lost to a good team. Not a great team. We are a good team... nothing special. No problem.

how many shots did Pope or Shrigs take in the last few minutes? Didn't even touch the rock. Once they started fronting JJ u got to go to hot had. AQ not effective late. Seemed like TK was having a good game but not a lot of min.

Clearly down the stretch we didn't have our best defensive team playing. Why not run a zone to protect weak defenders & too give others a blow on the court. "in Fish we trust" We tried the zone and they blew it up

Transfers cost us this game. Chol washed up from Arizona and Quinn from csun. Before someone says jj was a transfer simple math helps this. 1-2=-1 you should transfer out of aztecmesa AQ has been good in the past give him a break

Defense lost this game , we could not get a stop at the end or beginning. We gave up 20 points in the first 5 minutes and too many threes. Happy for Malik though, kid is scary and Matt has been shooting great last two games.

Give. cSU shot lights out, the fact this game game down to the last minute is a testament to how good this team is. Couple mistakes otherwise, they coulda had the win. I am not too disappointed. Bummed, but CSU won that game, we didn't hand it to them. They played great....that happens sometimes. :-)

We can all bang on Eustachy, but he shows huge respect for Fish and the Aztecs.
He's a helluva coach, he had his guys ready to play.
The refs had WAY too much influence on this game

We cannot dig ourselves double digit holes and expect to win, especially on the road... Don't like AQ taking those shots. They denied Pope, but where was Shrigs? Dude, they couldn't miss for the first 10 minutes. the 2nd half lineup was stacked more for scoring and not defense ( no Sky, Shep ) missed fts hurt down the stretch

I'm sorry, I love AQ, haven't criticized him once this year, but that was horrible. lol the dribbling a forcing his way to defended forced shots. Way too much hero ball. I have felt all season he was a good pg option for us, but he showed tonight he's not. If he was, he wouldn't have taken those shots, would have found a way to get open looks for pope and Shrigs Quinn or Kell is fine against 75% of the teams out there. It's the other 25% with small quick guards that he'll struggle against. I'm surprised it took you this long to see. Most identified this problem in Maui. Elite small guards will kill us!
