Can't find a way to get Pope or Shrigs the ball down the stretch? Interesting strategy. At least it was an entertaining game. It looked like they weren't even trying.

The Aztecs will win this conference. After tonight there is no doubt. CSU couldn't have had it set up any better and they needed refs to bail them out. What makes you so sure?

If Pope keeps playing like he did tonight, the Aztecs will win the conference and MWC tourney. He looked phenomenal tonight! Shrigs has finally found his shot again, and that will help too.

Missed FT's really hurt... make even a couple of the misses, it changes the game a lot. Add that to CSU shooting 3's way over their normal rate early, and it was a fatal combination. Amazing comeback to make it close, but damn... that was a winnable game, but we just didn't have quite enough to make up for the unconscious deep shots early.

all-in-all, 2 out of 3 in the Wyoming/Colorado road trip...not bad...I'll take it.

We cannot dig ourselves double digit holes and expect to win, especially on the road... Don't like AQ taking those shots. They denied Pope, but where was Shrigs? Dude, they couldn't miss for the first 10 minutes. What did we do during that time? We were like 2-12 or something, no?

Not meltdown needed. We played well, we lost to a white hot team. No shame or foul in that.

Clearly down the stretch we didn't have our best defensive team playing. Why not run a zone to protect weak defenders & too give others a blow on the court. "in Fish we trust"

It is becoming obvious that Shep should not be starting for this team.

I'm sorry, I love AQ, haven't criticized him once this year, but that was horrible. lol the dribbling a forcing his way to defended forced shots. Way too much hero ball.
I have felt all season he was a good pg option for us, but he showed tonight he's not. If he was, he wouldn't have taken those shots, would have found a way to get open looks for pope and Shrigs

Surprise surprise people guess what they were guarding shrigley and pope harder since they were the only ones who could shoot a basket.
