QK would have done fine in league play. Be careful what you wish for. I'm not saying Bawden won't be good but he is unproven.

I realize Aztecs will not shock anyone now. Especially with Boise State losing to a bad Air Force team who I watched against Georgia STATE and they looked horrible so I can't believe Boise State lost. I guess MWC is an enigma because Colorado State just beat Boston College ON THE ROAD who beat obviously pretty good USC and what turns out to be a half decent Colorado team so I guess Colorado State is the best P5 Buster? But I need something to fill in time before SDSU starts basketball with potentially the best team they have ever fielded. Can't stand watching Florida State hype with headline grabber Winston and their horrible Defense and they still stay #1. I am slowly losing interest in College Football and the stupid P5 stuff. Auburn should have been beat at Kansas State and anyone other than Myopic Tiger fans knows that yet they are STILL at #5 after impressing NO ONE. Makes me puke.

I knew KQ deserved the job over Dingwell, but anything beyond that was beyond me.
It's time to look to the future; it's time to hand the ball to a kid we actually recruited.

That's not going to stop Toldeo from running a trick play on 1st and goal, though.
moron.

Fresno State can't stop the run. Just run it . Game over. They gave up 285 yards rushing to lowly New Mexico who had 5.2 yards per carry. And they gave up 320 yards passing to 1-4 Southern Utah. So even if they stack the box throw it to Miles and Pumphrey. If it were only so simple. Don't you think Fresneck will play the run and dare the green as grass TFr to throw? They certainly will be keying on #19 as the guy that can beat them. We all can hope that Bawden is the second coming of Phillip Rivers but losing QK for the first conf. road game is a body blow for us. What a challenge this will be for his teammates as we continue to incur injuries.

Broken record. This is the third year in a row that we had to change QB early in the season and go to someone with no experience. First Katz then Dingwell and now QK. Lets hope that we are out of this routine by next year.

I don't even care about this year or conference play...this will jump start our future. Now if we can somehow kick Toledo out, bring in Charlie Weis...add Hoke as a Def Coordinator...we might have something!

Shoulder. LArgent will still be out too. I don't think anyone expected Largent back in one week after having appendix surgery. Rocky said last night he is out 3-4 weeks. Yup, I was just pointing out that the person who many believe is our best D player was out last night and for the near future. Glad we have some depth.

My source says six weeks is more like it. Returning to work at a desk . . . in other words light duty . . . is one thing. Playing tackle football is another. Bawden may become a great QB, but I hate to throw him into an important away game as his baptism of fire. AzWm

The mwc is minor leagues for the minor leagues.

Rocky says 3-4 weeks. That's the number I am going with.

What a challenge this will be for his teammates as we continue to incur injuries. I think Oregon State did this with Qk behind center and we still lost with our experiance Qb... They dared our QB to throw and he couldnt find the open guys with man coverage... The real issue is our defense Su@ks.... Rocky has had 6 years to fix this mess and havent seen any improvement... Anytime our offense struggles we lose... It feels as of late if we dont get penalize on a 15 yard pass interferance, our dline receives a 15 yard personal foul...

QK would have done fine in league play. Be careful what you wish for. I'm not saying Bawden won't be good but he is unproven. Toledo will keep him on a short leash, talk to Jerry Neuheisel, who beat UT with the run and strong D.
