Too many questionable or non-calls today. This was the first tournament since 2002 except 2021 when no one could attend that I did not attend in person. I have detested Verne Harris since the 2009 tournament loss to Utah. Mountain worst refs YOU SUCK. With better officiating, new mexico is one and done in the NCAA tournament.

Here they go again about previous TV games running into the Aztecs game. Wisconsin just forced OT against Purdue and Nebraska-Illinois still to tip off. All on CBS. CBS should show the flames behind the basket as part of the pre-game.

Not winning the title game and the Aztecs women did play 4 mwc tournament games in 4 days. The CSU-NM winner will play 4 games this year.

5 MWC teams (UNLV, SDSU, Colorado State, Boise State and New Mexico all have 20+ wins and should go to one of three post season tournaments. Ratings are misleading on NCAAW because 20 teams ranked above the Aztecs have a losing overall record and the bottom 2 teams in this conference are 273 San Jose State and 346 Utah State of 360 teams on omniratings. Through yesterday, NCAA has UNLV at 25 and SDSU at 145. Omni has UNLV at 39 and SDSU at 141 through March 10. SDSU won 5 of 5 games against the bottom two. Regarding potential or actual NCAA tournament teams, SDSU is 0-5 before today with losses to UNLV twice, Stanford, Portland and Cal Baptist once.

Anything is possible in March. Today, underdog Portland beat Gonzaga 67-66 for the WCC championship. Portland lost by 50 to Gonzaga Feb. 28. Gonzaga beat Stanford this season.

1) restore the ability to tailgate in the parking lot and in a city that allows one to walk around with an alcoholic drink. 2) allow game attendees to go on the balcony outside section 106 and 107 to make phone calls, etc. 3) restore the seats behind the baskets to the 4th row. Denver was fun specially in 2006 despite 7,000 Wyoming fans for the final and the bars closed too early.

SDSU may not have to play UNLV if Colorado State beats UNLV Tuesday. The UNLV-Colorado State games were within 5 points. The UNLV schedule is filled with cupcakes and with a overall strength of schedule of over 100. Unlv hasn't faced one team in the top 25 polls. Each MWC opponent for UNLV is lower than 100 in the NCAA women's net ratings. The best team UNLV beat was Oklahoma (not ranked for that game) who was the regular season champion in the Big 12 and lost to Iowa State in the Big 12 semi-finals Monday. UNLV lost to New Mexico on a buzzer beater and Seton Hall. UNLV is beatable. ESPN has UNLV is a 9th seed in the bracketology. Adding 3 of 4 teams who finished in a 4-way tie for 4th made it to the MWC semi-finals. SDSU is 0-3 against top 25 teams with two losses to UNLV and 1 to Stanford.
