AZZZZZZZZZZtecs handily taking care of San Hosie. Ahead by 21 with 14 minutes left in the game. Would be fun to see them still playing on Wednesday night - the top tier will be a bit more of a challenge than San Hosie, though. All it takes is a few more wins … today's will be win #20 for this season.

Restore the about 10 rows behind the basket. Fiso player of the game with Prohaska second. Bring on New Mexico. 3rd time in 5 years.

We are about 8 years to late where this program should be at? Making the finals get her a year extension and winning the tournament buys her another 3 years. Anything less will be pink walking papers.

They shoot the 3 better than the men’s team. Watch those highlights.

They shoot the 3 better than the men’s team. Watch those highlights. Yup I agree. Has she won enough in the last 10 years to merit a new contract? She took over a program that had gone to the sweet 16 the prior year before taking over! Has not been able to maintain or make the NCAA Tournament. The standard for her was what I had for Steve Fisher when initially hired, make the NCAA Tournament every 5 years.

As discussed numerous times on this board, whether it's right or not, WBB and other non-revenue sports have tempered expectations compared to MBB and football. After several down years, the program has been on the upswing the last few seasons. There won't likely be any changes this year.

BTW, I hope that if it ever does come time to let Coach Stacie go, that we do so in a classier fashion than USU did yesterday - www.youtube.com/shorts/UW5g8FYleSwHow's that for a mic drop abrupt ending to a press conference? Can't blame her for making a quick exit.

Question for OP: when is the Menses Tournament, and can you start that thread too?

Aztec women are up 39-28 at halftime over the Lobos. Looking pretty good so far. Game is on TheMW.com (choose "Watch" from the top menu)

What a gutsy win especially after Prohaska fouled out on a bad offensive foul and the Quezada injury. Rubber match against either Wyoming or Boise State.

Enjoy a win over a quality opponent. Beating the 2nd place conference team New Mexico twice this season should get praises. Yes, SDSU should be in the WNIT or best case scenario the NCAA.

SDSU may not have to play UNLV if Colorado State beats UNLV Tuesday. The UNLV-Colorado State games were within 5 points. The UNLV schedule is filled with cupcakes and with a overall strength of schedule of over 100. Unlv hasn't faced one team in the top 25 polls. Each MWC opponent for UNLV is lower than 100 in the NCAA women's net ratings. The best team UNLV beat was Oklahoma (not ranked for that game) who was the regular season champion in the Big 12 and lost to Iowa State in the Big 12 semi-finals Monday. UNLV lost to New Mexico on a buzzer beater and Seton Hall. UNLV is beatable. ESPN has UNLV is a 9th seed in the bracketology. Adding 3 of 4 teams who finished in a 4-way tie for 4th made it to the MWC semi-finals. SDSU is 0-3 against top 25 teams with two losses to UNLV and 1 to Stanford.
