You don't really have to move him. He doesn't really have the speed to be a pure WR, but he can be shifted and moved (like Antonio Gates) to create mismatches. Yessir, I wonder if Al has met with the Chargers offensive staff at all to get a better feel for how they use #85.

Is it true that Alston Umuolo because of his great hands and speed may be the perfect canidate to move from TE to WR? We have a plethora of players at TE already, and since he has great size at 6'3", 240 lbs., would he not make the perfect wideout for Lindley to hit? He will be coming back for his 5th year due to injury, and with his experience he will fit in nicely. ;D Umuolo was SERIOUSLY injured this year. He was still limping at the bowl game three months after hip surgery. We can hope he can play next year, but there is no assurance of that at all.

That's too bad, hopefully he will heal in time to be able to contribute. He may not have the speed of Brown, but he did catch a couple of passes in '09 and scored without being caught from behind. I would love to see him as a WR if possible. But, it doesn't matter he can score when he gets the ball even if he played Tackle eligible.
