Did the UT even cover the game? I can't find a mention of it in my digital version. It's as if they didn't even know we had a game---but then, I think that may have been Lewis's thinking as well. I can't imagine what problem you're having. I was able to read the article on-line and it's not even pay walled. Curious. Your link works fine, but my subscription digital has zero mention still. Some random banjax, no doubt. |

Well, the team doesn't seem to have given up which is a good thing. Watching all the injuries pile up has been difficult. I think we have some decent receivers but we really don't have much of run game. We're just not as good as many of the other teams. We've had offensive line problems for years. What happens post season will probably tell the tale on Lewis.

Simmons is considered a last 1st-2rd round pick in the draft. |

The true sign of a good Offensive and Defensive line is good coaching and a really good strength and Conditioning program, if you do not have both you have nothing. They do not happen over night but they should get better day after day. This program is basically at rock bottom again after this season. They need to hit the JC's and Transfer Portal looking for players who are willing and able to sign up and transfer at the Spring Semester and buy in right away. The High School commits that are needed are ones looking to come in and enroll in the 1st Summer School Session and hit the ground running. This program needs to establish a hard-ass toughness that has been lacking here the last 4-5 years, it's improved this year but needs way more. This staff needs to push the issue as soon as this season ends (11/30) and find out who really wants to stay around. This means pushing the issue of who plans on returning and who wants to transfer out, sorry to be soo blunt but they need to press the issue and find out ASAP. There is going to a huge turn-over again this offseason and they need to set a precedence for physicality and toughness starting right away and it all starts in this upcoming offseason, (the first week in January) |

I don't know what's going on with the extra point 'spread formation' but it looks bush league & resembles a chinese fire drill.
Just line up & kick the ball through the uprights. I've seen crisper, better coached, better prepared high school football teams (Mater Dei & De La Salle come to mind).
