No, it makes zero sense. Her ties to a strong economy? All you're saying is voters are too dumb to figure out the truth. That's it. That's an electorate problem, not a candidate problem. How that isn't seen is incredible. It's obvious. We have dumbed down society to the point where they can't think for themselves. Economic factors are driven by simple supply and demand. Coming out of a global pandemic where the US printed hundreds of billions (nearly a trillion) in COVID relief checks, where SUPPLY chains were disrupted, where DEMAND bottomed out and then rose again to pre-pandemic levels....of course you're going to have inflation. A moron could figure that out. That's before you even get to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, which sent fuel prices skyrocketing and strained global resources. No candidate was going to overcome false realities. Inflation was inevitable. You're making excuses for people that are too dumb to do literally ten minutes of research. And you're once again ignoring the fact that anyone but Harris would have started a campaign, from scratch, in August. Shocked, I say. Yep. Now the question is: will any of the Trump voters on this board have their own "find out" moment in the next four years? Most likely they'll be affected, but also most likely they'll spin it as victim/Dem blaming.

He's their savior.

Never mind. The cost of eggs is more important than having a viable Constitution, doncha know? Yeah, kindness, compassion, empathy, and allowing people the freedom to be who and what they are (as long as they're not hurting anyone else) is just a bunch of soft girly man kind of stuff. Low T guys support that, not he-man woman haters like Trump and Vance.

We got, and will get, everything we bargained for. The industrialists (tech companies) will get everything they want, while the middle class loses all of their gains post WW II. It’s an easy formula to follow: tax cuts for the Musks and a loss of benefits and entitlements for the working class. Thank you, working class for giving T the mandate to be your proctologist-in-chief, as he shafts you and your family. You reap what you sow and you have turned your oats into chaff.

Getting rid of Social Security ensures that anyone who votes in Congress to eliminate it will lose their seat. That's the third rail. End Social Security and you're done as an elected official come your next election. They can, and probably will, reduce it, however. My mom was convinced that Kamala would cut Medicare. In reality, it's going to be Trump that does it. Well done, America!

Yes, it's not going away anytime soon, but I was just wanting to see if that was one of the OP's thoughts when he said that working is going to lose their gains. He might mean by being taxed more.

Realistically, no way that would happen. I would say that taxing Social Security does lower the GDP. I know some seniors that don't want to work to much because if they make too much income, they will give up 85% of their SS. The mind is a funny thing with the way people view and processes taxes and net income.

Thank you, working class for giving T the mandate to be your proctologist-in-chief, as he shafts you and your family. You reap what you sow and you have turned your oats into chaff. The tech companies have already been getting all they want for the last 30+ years, and the middle class has been shrinking for decades. Depending on where you look, the percentage of US households in the 70s in the middle class was about 61% compared to 50% now according to a quick google search. I'm sure it's gotten way worse than that in many areas of the country The whole reason Trump won is because people are fed up with how screwed up the government is, despite getting plenty of our taxes - and they want to give an outsider a chance to give it a full overhaul. We need the government to be like 20% the size that it is, or less. But there is zero chance the left was going to cut the government - they want it as big as possible. Right now, about 35% of our GDP is from government spending, which is terrifying. We're adding about $1 trillion to our debt every 100 days. We are pretty much already in a debt spiral, but if we don't do something about this now there will be no coming back. We don't have a tax revenue problem, we have a government spending problem. We're going to spend about 900 billion dollars this year on interest payments alone. The single most important thing the Trump admin could do is cut the government drastically, which it sounds like he's going to do. If he doesn't, I'll be the first to criticize him

No, the conservative Republican radio shows she's been listening to said that and she believed them. But Elon Musk has said that his department of efficiency was going to make some brutal cuts that were going to cause pain to the American People for a while, so that certainly fits with the idea of making these cuts. Elon certainly does not show caring or empathy. He knowingly put out the self drive Teslas even though they weren't ready and were certain to cause fatalities. (It was his way of finding the bugs in the system.)

"Cutting the government" sounds wonderful in theory, but what about cutting federal civil servants and making them "at will" employees? Those individuals will lose current protections under the law and be subject to termination.

Why is it that Democrats need to tell people what to believe and listen to because they think everyone else is wrong if they don't agree, and think like them. It's like the Liz Chaney and General Milley miss quotes. It is so wrong of MSNBC and CNN to say that Trump wants to line them up to a firing squad. Trump just exposed them for being War Hawks and not caring about American Soldiers lives in never ending wars. Trump does not want people to die and it sounds like those two want never ending wars by engaging American troops in Ukraine to fight Russia.

It was a combo of green, white, and brown eggs at farmer's market. Green egg layers are every other day with larger yolks and higher protein. I like to support the small farmers.
