This video is an example how some Democrats have allowed their minds to be distorted by the media. Trump was not convicted of rape. It is crazy what is happening in our school system. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDlg3O0TftgTrump was found civilly liable for sexual assault. The judge, however, stated that he believed he raped Carroll. That judge should be kicked off the bench if he stated that after the trial...completely unethical comment. This isn't the 1400's any more. Democrats need to follow the law and not use the media to convict the people that don't agree with them. Its bad enough that Obama used the DOJ against Trump in 2016 with the Russia hoax.

Isn't it funny how the Republicans on this thread keep avoiding the actual topic?

The Russian election interference has been debunked many times; it was Obama/Clinton who tried to manipulate the election with false claims using the Democratic controlled DOJ with the Russia claims.

Completely....f******....False. www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/senate-panel-finds-russia-interfered-in-the-2016-us-electionThat's a GOP-led committee with a bipartisan report that Russian operatives interfered in the 2016 election. Paul Manafort sold polling data to Russian operatives. He went to prison. William Barr personally killed the Mueller Report. A federal judge ruled this: www.npr.org/2022/08/20/1118625157/doj-barr-trump-russia-investigation-memoYou'd have to be a moron to not be able to put basic connections together. Then again, you think because Trump said he doesn't support Project 2025 that that somehow means it's not going to be installed. Forgive me if I use my actual brain here.

Truth is difficult to realize sometimes, but it's still the truth. The reference is to a large segment of the voting population.

Kind of sounds like both sides feel like the other side is extremist, and feel like the other side is an existential threat to America. Sounds like people on both sides are talking in an echo chamber, instead of engaging each other on the issues. Funny thing, you had the Republicans running against trans rights, Republican politicians banning abortion, even some Republicans saying that the protections for interracial marriage should be removed as they don't believe it's constitutional. Plus you've got actual videos - lots of them - of Republican voters shouting ugly obscenities demeaning gays, minorities, etc. I have a friend who was in West Hollywood a few days after the election, and some trucks came rolling through with their Trump flags and the people in the trucks were harassing the people there shouting, "Fags," and whatnot. It was really reprehensible. The Democrats don't have a history of doing that kind of thing. They're all about respecting people's identity and not judging based solely on who or what you are. Enough of the identity politics, and get back to discourse on the actual issues. Identity politics is a distraction from the cold, hard economic truth that the rich have been robbing the rest of the country since the 1980's on taxes. Identity politics needs to take a backseat to economic reality for the Democratic party, if they actually want to win going forward. That doesn't mean that Democrats shouldn't support those rights, but it means Stop Focusing so much on it.

We have more than enough evidence to support the assertion. This isn't 2016 anymore, you don't get a mulligan for burying your head in the sand.

You think there's no world beyond this subforum? Talk about a bubble of isolation. No, I'm talking about the millions of people who were paying attention and voted against one of the worst presidents in American history. Corruption, gross perversion of the Constitution, the unwillingness to divest business interests to leverage the office of the presidency, the mishandling of the pandemic, the shattering of long-standing norms, the lack of ethics, morality, compassion, integrity, substance, virtue, emotional stability.... You ask a lot of blindingly obvious, very dense questions.

A lot of them voted for Harris simply because they can't stand Trump himself, and not much to do about anything else. There are quite a few uniformed voters on all sides.

I'm absolutely going to give credit to those people who solely voted against Trump. That's the entire point of my post. Taking a stand against insanity should be commended. Being a never Trumper should be commended. Having the fortitude to do what's right should be commended. It's exceedingly clear which side of the information bubble the smart people are on. That's reflected across the spectrum right now and it's not difficult to spot. - Trump supporters are just finding out now that "Obamacare" equals the ACA. Too bad about your preexisting conditions when the ACA gets repealed and millions of people are left without healthcare. - "I won't get deported, I'm not a criminal." (Oops, enjoy deportation.) - "There's no connection between Trump and Project 2025 because er, um, well, Trump said so!" (As Project 2025 is already in motion...)

Just because there's 76 million of you doesn't mean it isn't a cult. Are you saying that you respect Fauci level science and Big Pharma profiteer's science with the United States having some of the lowest health rates in the world; while spending the most money. Questioning what is going on with those numbers doesn't make people dumb. Its just common business sense. How does following these Democrat Leaders, voting for these same people over and over, and expecting a different result not the definition of insanity. These same lemmings are referenced as "educated voters" when they look more like "highly trained monkeys" that are all straddled with a bunch of college student loan debt. The problem with fixing these issues is that some people that are getting paid a bunch of tax payer money that are not doing anything. They are going to be upset and call Trump and his team a bunch of names. Like Nancy Pelosi's niece, Alexis Pelosi, getting paid $181k in 2024 for being a climate advisor. Talking about nepotism in the worst way. Need to hear some good apologies for that one. What would the Democrats say about that if it was Trump's niece?
