Don't forget Los Angeles State. I forgot… are they Northridge now? Nope, but like most of our other former PCAA members they no longer have a football program.

I can see something like this happening: Air Force, New Mexico, Utah State go to the AAC San Jose State, Nevada, Hawaii, Wyoming go to C-USA MWC goes awayCan you imagine if that happens? We'll get all that Final 4 money that's currently being split 9 ways.

So, does the MWC expand (adding 2, 4 to 6 schools) or contract into a combination of the AAC & CUSA or drop to the FCS Big Sky? Time will tell. Good luck Gloria. USU is hoping to be a travel partner with AFA… assuming they go to the AAC… the part that is really bad… even if they wanted to add UTEP or NM State… what do they have to offer… please come to the MWC, we don’t have a media deal and if we get one it is likely to be about what you are getting in CUSA/Sunbelt Why would the Dakotas or Montana schools make the move… Up front $5m just to make the move and then they get in a conference that pays $1m per year and they add AD costs… they would be at a $5m to $10m annual deficit by making the move… Ugly If I was the AAC, I would add USU with AFA as a travel partner. Good fan support, success in the money sports. I'd rate them third after UNLV and AFA is conference value.

Yes, AFA, UNM and USU go to the ACC but one of the four you mention going to the C-USA is a Judas. Hawaii will convince the other three that they are all in for the move but, after the other three schools sign, Hawaii, says, "wait a minute." Hawaii is the last member of the MWC and they get the judge to rule that all exit and poaching fees are due to them in full and with that $245M they buy their way into the B1G.

The way Nevarez allowed an internal message from SDSU to the conference get "leaked", and then her decision to make it very public, then interpret the question in a memo into a way to try and embarrass SDSU and then hold a vote to "allow us" back in makes me have zero empathy or sympathy for her, and frankly is a large reason I won't care if any org under her charge goes kaput. 1000% I have zero sympathy. She can rot for what she did to SDSU.

She can rot for what she did to SDSU. She overplayed her hand with Wazzu and OSU, knowing SDSU, BSU, CSU and Fresno were shopping conferences. Plus the PAC 2 had just earned $255MM in settlements and Gloria wanted to shake them down for more money in the purposed 2025 FB scheduling agreement? The PAC said, I'll just buy your best teams, sorry Gloria. And I'll buy the best of the AAC and kneecap both leagues.

Gloria overplayed her hand on either a power trip or to appease the front range. She should have played nice with sdsu after the pac collapsing debacle. Instead she went on a power trip with payment to return and then the 20 game conference schedule. She should have looked at how the WCC has kept Gonzaga. Give the NCAAT credit after first round to earning school. Etc Additionally, she shouldn’t have played hard ball with pac 2. Scheduling contact called for $9m payment for next year and she demanded $14m thinking she had leverage. Play stupid games win stupid prizes I know SDSU likes Gloria… they have nothing against her… her hands were tied… there are six schools that the other six schools didn’t want around anymore and have little to no media value… but you can’t win a vote if they vote as a block… which they did… The Little 6 are the ones that failed miserably… they should have known their value and what would happen if they pushed for the 20 game schedule, etc. I disagree completely. The little 6 took her lead. She set the narrative and the tone. She very publicly tried to embarrassed sdsu with leaked narratives and public statements, for which she received great praise. She let it get to her head. She could have down played the tone and kept communications more private, SHE didn’t. She could have kept to the original scheduling agreement with P2, she didn’t. I believe she wanted to be the next yormark and got played

She is in the same Clown Car as Carl drove with the WAC, not much she can do except beg for new members. Good riddance! Long overdue!!!

JMO Well, she better wait to see if she gets it before spending all that money. We haven't heard from her since the day the PAC announced it was taking her 4 best programs. Perhaps it's time to call for a welfare check.

she can only do what the remaining Presidents want her to do
Is there a priority for those remaining schools to look for a new conference or to try to add schools - might guess they will be looking for ways to get as much money as they can

JMO Air Force is out the door and the PAC probably takes at least 1 more MW member. That would put them down to 6 football members at least. The AAC is also looking to raid the MW. This thing is on the brink of collapse and she will lose her job. Doesn’t seem great to me 🤷♂️.

If Memphis, USF, UTSA, and Tulane all join over the weekend I cant See the Pac taking another MW School. My guess is that they stay at 10 and wait to see if the ACC falls apart or until Stanford and Cal get tired of cross-country travel. Also, I believe Cal and Standford are only getting 30% shared in the ACC so if the Pac has any kind of decent media deal it would be more profitable for them to move back.

Pac2 stayed Pac2 for the sole reason of the keeping the exit fees and revenues of the other members. they could have disbanded the PAC, but to do so would mean eating the money. i guarantee you a Hawaii, New Mexico, San Jose St will be waiting for that moment to collect what is left.

It will be much harder to lure Calford back with Fresno and Boise in the conference. The snob factor is high with the Bay Area schools. USF for FB only for me, paired with Gonzaga. Not sure they have a place for their Olympics, however.

I think USF in Football would be a big win and maybe it looks like this: San Diego State Oregon State Washington State Boise State Colorado State Fresno State Memphis Tulane UTSA USF (football only) Gonzaga (Basketball and Olympic sports) If USF wants in for all sports at least they would have 3 teams 1 time zone away.
