I love jury duty. I was on a case last year. Of course, I get paid jury leave and I love the 90 minute lunch breaks. Same. Everyone should serve on a jury at least once. It gives one a new appreciation of how difficult it is, e.g. I hadn't ever served prior to the OJ trial and I couldn't fathom how they couldn't find him guilty. After serving now four times (once as foreman) I now understand all the nuances involved. Jury/judge instructions alone can turn what seems like a no-brainer/slam dunk case into a complex clusterF. Are you a lawyer? I thought I heard you mention that you are. Just curious.

The jury also said that they didn't understand more than half of what the prosecutors, and prosecutors DNA specialists were talking about when it came to the DNA. He was so innocent, that he drove around for hours, suicidal, wanting to kill himself on Nicole's grave. There is soooo much more, but I don't have time to go through it right now. This is coming from a guy, who really admired OJ before this, like so many did. I REALLY wanted him to be innocent.

And like Erik I'm fortunate enough to work in a field that encourages jury duty, i.e. we get paid our regular work salary to attend.

We've lost a juror.
Note that Fox isn't the only network that has given background details out on the jury, but with Trump amplifying these comments, the juror has been excused.

I personally don't know anyone who either doesn't despise (95%) or love (5%) trump. That's not to say there are some out there who have no opinion...I just don't know anyone like that. you would have to live in a bubble..or not be in a work place where people gather.

Let’s see now….
-Trump is off the campaign trail. -Trump is being demonetized by excessive fines.
The Democrat strategy of using the Justice System to achieve their political objectives seems to be working. MSNBC, CNN, CBS, PBS, ABC, NPR just can’t stop talking about it.

Never in the history of the USA has a sitting president abused power against a political opponent to attempt to win an election. Not even Nixon. This administration has truly jumped the shark. I have zero faith that anything about this election will be legitimate. Matthew Colangelo is a current Manhattan prosecutor. He was hired in 2022 by Alvin Bragg. Stop with the fake outrage. It's honestly embarrassing, especially when you're blatantly misrepresenting the truth here. If you don't think people can think independently and use Google, you're wrong. Once again, the issue is we have never had a president as corrupt and felonious as Donald Trump. Truly embarrassing. I don't understand how else to convey this.

Every president since the founding of this country has been granted some level of executive courtesy. Because when you are president, apparently you have to make some tough choices on who dies who gets in our country what countries get attacked, etc. etc. If a president has to worry about the ramifications of his actions after he leaves office, that may impact the decision-making process and potentially harm our country down the road. My question is, why is Donald Trump the first president who apparently is not extended this executive privilege? Nixon had it, Obama LBJ Eisenhower Wilson, Hoover. Each one of these presidents undoubtedly violated a law or two in the course of being president. Why is Trump different? Just because you personally don’t like him is not a valid answer.
