San Jose State's recent acquisitions are impressive. Tim Miles, a highly respected figure in NCAA coaching circles, has added valuable players to their roster.
Additionally, the transfer of Will McClendon from UCLA is noteworthy. McClendon, a former part-time starter at UCLA and a standout player at Bishop Gorman HS, was recruited by SDSU as a four-star prospect. Despite missing the 2021-22 season due to injury, he showcased his skills in 60 games for the Bruins, including all 33 in the 2023-24 season, where he averaged 4.1 PPG, 3.3 RPG, and 1.1 APG.
Furthermore, the acquisition of Josh Uduje from Utah State adds significant depth to San Jose State's roster. Uduje began his collegiate career at Coastal Carolina in 2021 before transferring to Utah State for the 2023-24 season. In his final year at Coastal Carolina, he averaged an impressive 13.3 points per game and this year was honored as the 6th Man of the Year at Utah State where he averaged 8.7 PPG, 2.5 RPG, and 1.0 APG. These additions undoubtedly enhance San Jose State's prospects for success in the upcoming season.
Previous 24/25 transfers: Sadraque NgaNga - 6/9 205, Forward, Seton Hall, Boise State Chol Marial - 7'2" 235 Center, Oregon State, Maryland Sadaidriene Hall - 6'5" 200 Forward, Cal Baptist, SFA, ETSU Donavan Yap, Jr. - 6'5" 185 Guard, Fresno State, UNLV

So, there are 4 guys 6'10" and a 6'9" guy on that list, not mention a couple of guys I assume are 3's or 4's, yet none of our insiders have ever(that i saw) mentioned them in connection with the Aztecs? Are we not interested, or are they not interested? Are our standards so stringent that we only look at defense? This seems to be an decades long scenario, with bigs going everywhere, but here? It can't all be NIL?

do wonder if Saunders had let Dutcher know earlier if SDSU would have had an opportunity with some of the PF There's no question that we would have had the opportunity with more PFs had he told Dutcher earlier. Whether or not that would have resulted in us getting someone is something no one will ever know. You'd like to think that it would have.
