More than reloading, they're retaining. There had been a lot of Lobo worry that Toppin and Dent might leave for NIL$. But their core guys all stayed so far.

Article from Boise said that Agbo's NIL is in the $500,000 range and Boise just can't compete with that. I guess the days of kids bouncing back to home-towns only happens now if the home-town has a lot of cash. God, I HATE THIS SH*T!!! Those numbers are rarely if ever accurate. Those are typically "you may earn as much as..." but in reality it never comes close. Yet they still fall for it. With Agbo, the minute he hired a NIL agent it screamed what he was about. The agent is dictating where he goes, and doesn't even provide the opportunity to sell the "come home" angle. It's unfortunate. Agbo would have been the perfect Aztec recruit. I take all comments, "articles" and rumors with a huge grain of salt, especially around NIL$ but I have seen a couple on Agbo in the $500,000-$600,000 range. The latest has him going to the new U$C ferret.

Jamaal Mashburn started at Minnesota > followed Pitino to New Mexico > and just committed to Temple University as a GTR. They lost their leading scorer & PG to the portal, so Mashburn looks like a good fit to take his place. Have to think he's looking for a place that allows him to play the point, since that's his future. Wasn't doing that at NM. They do return most everyone else (lost 3 bench guys), so maybe they won't suck like they did this year.

Would guess he's not On the A list.

UNM has bettered its roster with the addition of two formidable players: 6'6" John Tonje from Missouri and 6'3"CJ Noland from North Texas. With these two acquisitions, UNM is poised to be a force in the Mountain West Conference.
