Nobody is afraid of anything except maintaining our democracy. Democracy is the will of the people...all the people (Black, Hispanic, Asian, Muslim, etc)...when has America ever been about that?...modern day...it's just pretense...we go through the motions/window dressing of inclusiveness...it's because in the past and today whites are the majority...fighting amongst themselves...in the end...whites win...but now the white population is dropping...minority-majority by 2040...somebody other than white is gaining the benefits of power...that doesn't sit well with a lot of whites...who feel as minorities gain...especially Blacks...white lose...Republicans are blatant about this belief...the majority of this nation's whites vote for the party...they are not being duped into choosing between democracy and a white-supremacy dictatorship...they know tomorrow is not their friend...therefore today...they have to seize the system before it's too late...to preserve whiteness...err America...they do not want to maintain a minority-led democracy...so, if all I've typed is bs...let's put it to a test...let Trump run and let America choose between white supremacy and democracy...then go from there...a lot of folks are scared to find out the results..... The fact that the GOP has been able to get arguably the two most unelectable/unworthy/unprepared candidates in history to the white house over the past 20 years speaks volumes about the dem failures. I left the party pre-2000 election after they put up milquetoast Gore. I came back to the party with Obama, looking like the dems had learned their lesson. Then HRC runs a completely uninspired campaign and gives a middle finger to the rust belt (even after Michael Moore warned her). To be clear, I'm not saying that racism is not alive and well in America, nor am I saying that Trump isn't a racist POS, as are many of his followers. I'm just saying that it's not that black and white, so to speak. |

Trump's appeal for a stay was filed today on the issue of immunity. SCOTUS will likely rule within a couple of weeks on whether immunity holds or not, which it won't.
