Dont see how its possible to take only 6 MWC schools. That would mean each 6 would have to pay an exit fee which they cant afford, plus that would only leave a Pac-8 which is not a secure number these days. Need to go the route of 9, dissolving the MWC. That leaves a Pac-11, still plenty of room for expansion in 5 years. If they take 6, then they are thinking of adding USF, Memphis, Tulane and Rice Where did you hear that?? Yuck 👎🏻

I wouldn’t trust anybody. Every school is out for themselves.
We should figure out a way to get to the big 12

Way too far and would stress what little resources we may have. Two time zones should b the limit, near major airports n big cities. Tulsa, Rice and UTSA may be weak but, depending on who we keep from MWC?

I would think that teams exiting the MW would work out some type of package deal to reduce the total cost and then work with the PAC2 to make it happen.
4-6 teams from the MW for something like 40-60 million dollars over 5 years and the PAC2 pickup 25 million upfront?
Then again what do I know, just jacked up on Mt Dew and I just got kicked out of the Holiday Inn.
*****Please note all above is NOT real and has never been reported by anyone.

Pretty simple direct commercial flight from San Diego

Offer to play for no TV dollars. Won’t happen. Can’t afford it. We only receive $4M today in media dollars. It can be overcome with better ticket sales.

Between mm bowl and cfp payouts it would far surpass what we get in the mwc. I would do it for 2024 as well. The longer we wait the more likely someone else will take the same deal.

I just posted something nearly identical in the other thread without reading this first. Consider it confirmation. I absolutely believe something like this is going to happen.
