Winning a national title is fukcing hard. No team on the West Coast has done so in 26 years. All those good UCLA, Arizona, and Gonzaga teams couldn’t do it. I’m proud we fought till the end and cut it to 5. We gave UConn a better game than any other team in the tournament. They are just a great team and better than us. Would’ve loved a different result but it’s hard to be sad one bit for this season.

BRADLEY JUST SUCKS. DUDE IS NOT A GAMER. I HOPE DUTCH CAN REPLACE HIM WITH A SHOOTER. He literally just scored 21 points in the Final Four game. And you just answered yourself?? 🤔

UConn victory margin in March Madness
1st Round, Iona, 87-63, won by 24 2nd Round, St. Mary's, 70-55, won by 15 Sweet 16, Arkansas, 88-65, won by 23 Elite 8, Gonzaga, 82-54, won by 28 Final Four, Miami (FL), 72-59, won by 13 Final, SDSU, 76-59, won by 17 (should have been way lower!)
This is like SDSU playing Quad-3 teams during the regular season.
Average margin of victory is 20 points. UConn is just really good, and playing really well.
Not SDSU. It's UConn.

BRADLEY JUST SUCKS. DUDE IS NOT A GAMER. Gundo, shut your pie hole!!!! Lamont + Trammell played there hearts out, all six games! Keshad = Leader!!! LeDee stepped up. AG, played guys 6 to 8 inches taller, straight up. Nate held his own. 11:08 killed us. Bradley, looks like he gave up, he needed to drive the ball when we were in the bonus, put points on the board. Deja Vu' with Matty B., Boise '22 (2x), Creighton '22 / Furman '23, Creighton '23, Alabama '23 and UCONN '23. Would like to see that guy step up during big games.

Yeah give UConn credit. They haven't been in a close game, we cut it to 5, had all the momentum, that dude hit a dagger 3 and off they go on a 9-0 run. Game. They seized control when it mattered.
Love this team! They vindicated the entire 25 year building of the program.

Round one. AZZZZZZZZZtecs. Holy Cow!!! They're on tonight! Thank you I really appreciate that. I'll probably say this again in another thread, but DO NOT let tonight's game take away any of the shine and glory of the historic win on Saturday. This loss is very painful But it doesn't reduce the joy of Saturday. We haven't plateaued. There is one more step on the championship ladder to climb.

Must be so goddamn tough to win when you consistently have 4+ star recruits beating down your door. f x x x UCHEAT. Hopefully we are that team with 4= star athletes seeking to play here. This run is the next progression to get us there. I dislike UConn because of Calhoun and not getting over things like I should. I really wanted to beat UConn to revenge the Kawhi team loss and because I do not like UConn. However, this UConn is not the Calhoun UConn. They are a very good team that may actually be good without resorting to cheating. They out played us and deserved to win. I wish otherwise, but we were outplayed. This Aztec team played with a lot of heart, energy, and emotion. They peaked at a great time. They provided the entire city a great team to root for comprised of outstanding young men. This team will be remembered for decades. Congrats to the players, coaches, and fans for this incredible run.

UConn was the better team. We could have played better but there was a reason we were the underdog. Hell of a season!! Yep. The only thing that could've saved us is if they missed FT's, but they made most of them. It showed they are a great team. Far more than most. they did better than NBA percentage at the FT. It prevented any hope we had at a comeback and it how good teams close out games.

"Matt Bradley, the team’s leading scorer during the regular season, has seen 130% growth on Instagram in the past month, according to his agent Jordan Green, founder of Glacier Marketing Group. Bradley has inked five figures worth of deals this weekend alone. He also received VIP care packages from Oakley, Sprayground, and Cuts."

BRADLEY JUST SUCKS. DUDE IS NOT A GAMER. No. I disagree. You are just expressing your emotions after a loss, which is fine. Bradley is a streaky shooter. It's tough when you're going up against better competition. This loss is on everyone on the team, no one did anything that stood out, good or bad, which is why we lost? I am proud of the run. Did it suck we didn't win...yeah, but if we played UConn 10 games, we maybe win 2-3 games. They are just a flat out better team, and they are playing very very well, evident by the margin of victory in the March Madness, no less than 13. We stayed within the average; I wish we could've kept it within 7 points. Bradley is streaky - usually on against shorter defenders, always struggles against bigger defenders. It just is what he is. Unfortunately, UConn shut him down as I feared.

I was nervous through the Bama game because we had to get that far to set a new standard for the program and restore some respectability to college basketball. Everything after that was dessert, which was very good, btw!

Far more than an incremental advance this season. It'll be hard to replicate this season's successes, but now that it's over, everyone knows this level of success is possible. They blew through all previous ceilings this year - expectations will be exponentially higher than ever before for this program.
And eff the AZZZZZZhats running off at the mouth on ESPN right now. We were inventing reasons that San Diego State could win. It was never going to happen.
Just EFF them all.
