Best season in Aztec history. Win the conference, win the conference tournament, Final Four, Butlers winning shot to get to the finals. Just amazing. Can't wait until next season. Thanks Aztecs!!!!

BRADLEY JUST SUCKS. DUDE IS NOT A GAMER. No. I disagree. You are just expressing your emotions after a loss, which is fine. Bradley is a streaky shooter. It's tough when you're going up against better competition. This loss is on everyone on the team, no one did anything that stood out, good or bad, which is why we lost? I am proud of the run. Did it suck we didn't win...yeah, but if we played UConn 10 games, we maybe win 2-3 games. They are just a flat out better team, and they are playing very very well, evident by the margin of victory in the March Madness, no less than 13. We stayed within the average; I wish we could've kept it within 7 points. |

This is now the standard all future Aztec teams will be measured by
Lamont Butler's hero's arc from Maui goat to Final Four legend will be something he can use as a catalyst to become a MWC POY candidate next season
I'm gonna miss watching this team play.

Will say UConn the better team tonight the Aztec shots did just did not fall, Tip my hat to UCONN
BUT I will say the fouls NOT being called on Sonogo was a crime, he was a bull in a china shop pushing and shoving arms swinging everywhere and no fouls called. They were calling some strange fouls on both teams (kinda like an NBA game, guarding the star game by the ref's)

Let's recruit us a few consistent three-point assassins for next year...players who can create their own shots...and we'll need a good rim protector (maybe one with solid post moves)...too much to ask? That said, such a fantastic season. The lads just never quit all year long. Good luck with that! |

We had it down to 6 points, but we couldn't get any closer. Great effort gentleman!!! So proud of you guys!!! Not giving up was very much a team characteristic this year, but in the end the other team was just too much for them in just about every way possible. A very tough way to end a magical season. They can hold their heads up, but for many of them tonight was likely their very last game at this level of competition. Hate to watch them go out with a loss, but in this Tournament only one team gets to go out with a win. Wasn't them tonight. |

But it would not have made a difference. UConn won it on the FT line, 24 for 27 shots, 89%. That's better than NBA quality. |

Historic season, this will be talked about for many years to come. More banners to raise, stories to be told, songs to be sung.
Dutch is actively recruiting another batch of impact players to supplement our returners next year.
We will continue to get better. The future will be bright.

if curse..Butler misses that shot 2 days ago. uconn is better than us..no shame or curse there. Never able to get past the final game. Matters not the sport. That's a curse. True - but the MLB Tigers and Yanks, 49ers, and UConn were just much better teams. |

The Aztec just played a great defensive team (kinda like the Aztecs) but they (UConn) just had a better offensive team and made their shots when they needed them.

No, Bradley doesn’t suck. UConn is a good team. Bradley came to SDSU to represent and I appreciate that. I wish him the best in his future and thank him and the team for such a fantastic ride! Be appreciative for these young men. They tried their best and gave us something to cheer about. I love this team. Thank you.
