We have to give some credit to Creighton. They play very good defense also. Micah could not buy a bucket with lots of open looks....Matt was passing up 15 ft. face-to-the basket looks, uncontested early in the game...I couldn't figure out what the hell he was doing. I believe he was focused on running offensive sets in spite of wide open shots right in his wheel house.... I think it was a lack of confidence in Bradley. Kudos to him for noticing that he was cold. And, kudos to Dutch for getting him out there, since he was going to be a defensive liability. He couldn't hit a shot, so he was basically useless for us at that point. We have better defenders than him. |

Kaluma DID touch it last, so even if the clock hadn't run out we would have had it, and just had to throw it at someone's legs so it would then bounce downcourt running out the clock. Either way, we win. And Barkley saying they shouldn't have called that foul? Trammel went DOWN because of the shove. Of course that sent him off his trajectory, affecting the shot. They HAD to call it. We WON the game. Period, exclamation point. Final Four. Feels good. All during the replays of the last play, my girlfriend and I were saying it looked like it went off Kaluma.... Until, CBS showed one more angle and it showed Arop's hand going through Kaluma's and touching it last...then, CBS never showed that angle again.....It went off AROP! But, we win! Go Aztecs! I stand corrected.......On youtube there's a 20 minute video of the finish vs. Creighton....I watched the ending again, and at 16:53, the video appears to confirm that KALUMA was the last to touch the inbounds for Creighton.....Zebras got it right! |

It really sucks looked like Creighton touched the ball last SDSU ball out of bounds.

They called time expired before the ball hit the ground out of bounds so who touched it last did not matter. Creighton fans have got to be really pissed that they could not get the ball into Kalkbrenner in the second half. I'll never understand this. Anyone that says that wasn't a foul by Nembhard at the end is an idiot. He shoved Trammell while he was shooting, and pushed him off balance. Only the people who picked Creighton to win. Barkly wasn't happy, and Barkley was wrong on his puck to win, and saying that it wasn't a foul, and not to call s foul at the end of the game like that. Nembhard shoved him a little after initially putting his left arm into him. Clear foul. Similar contact in front and I do not call it. But DT burned him and got by him. Clear foul to me. |

I'm curious why we can't have a live postgame. Probably because of national programming from Fox Sports Radio, which likely requires them to play the entire March Madness games, not pick-and-choose. They jumped right into the Miami-Texas game. |

You could really see he was feeling stressed today, and not playing free. Hope he calms down Saturday. On the other side of the coin was Parrish, who at one point went World B.
